A fun book in which the little bunny get ready for the day. Illustrations are simple and nice.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the eARC.

This is a cute title for toddlers focused on the steps to get ready for the day. The actions play out in a muted color scheme with repetition and basic illustrations.

Simple paintings illustrate a bunny—who sleeps with a toy bunny, a little weird—doing everything but getting ready to go out—not wanting to get out of bed, dress correctly, eat breakfast, etc.—all in both English and Spanish.
Pretty simple all around. Not sure what this will do other than show children new ways to procrastinate, as I didn’t see any moral or lesson.

Toss up... I like the book, the formats cute, illustrations are too cute, too, BUT when I listen to it with my inner child's ear it sounds like nag, nag, nag....! I'm sure little ones will enjoy it - for a while....

This book reminded me of Good Night Moon. It is very basic and perfect for preschoolers and possibly first or second grade. I believe it does a great job showcasing basic wording and pairing of both languages so children of either culture can lean to speak a secondary language. The illustrations are cute and also a very basic, easy visual guide to help convey the wording of the book in both languages.

I did not love the book and probably would not buy for anyone I know but I could see where the appeal for the need of this book comes from. Thank you for allowing me to read/review it.

This was a fun book for young children and I imagine most parents go through this routine on a daily basis! The images are nice, bright and clear and the dual language is a great addition to the book - 4 stars

"Time to Get Ready, Bunny!" isa cute book about how hard it is for Bunny to get ready in the morning. It is also bilingual (Spanish) which would be great for ELL children who are Spanish speakers or for those trying to learn Spanish. I would love to see it in French as my grandchildren will be in a French Immersion School for their education. The illustrations are simple and cute. My grandson is in JK and is a terrible dawdler. I read this book with him and we laughed at every page. We talked about what the problem was (i.e. shirt too small, too cold for shorts etc.) I am not sure if he will be able to take anything from the story to change, but he did like it.

Cute and fun for a pre-K audience. The bilingual aspect will help market this book to both English and Spanish speaking readers. Time to get dressed, Bunny. Time to brush your teeth, Bunny. Time to eat breakfast, Bunny. Time to get in the car, Bunny--and so forth.

Did not like the book. Translated sentences in different color. It did not appeal to me and I’m sure will not appeal to a child. No illustration

Time to Get Ready, Bunny! / ¡Es la hora de alistarse, Conejito! by Brenda Ponnay is a cute and educational super quick read. The book is in both English and Spanish and would be great to help kids learn some new vocabulary and simple phrases in a different language.

The story is really easy to follow which makes this book suitable for young readers or anyone looking for some very light reading. Bunny gets ready for school and tries on a bunch of different inappropriate outfits before finally going to school.

While the illustrations are pretty cute, I wish they were brighter and livelier because they just don’t catch my eye much. I do like how relatable and approachable the book is. Kids can learn some new words or phrases while seeing Bunny do things like putting on different clothes and playing which would be familiar to them.

A fun way to enjoy a book and learn a little bit of Spanish with the little ones. It made me nostalgic, when I was little, one of my favourite picture books was with a bunny. But I truly enjoyed this one. And so did my little cousins!

The book follows Bunny (Conejito) getting ready in the morning - and we all know how hard that can be sometimes, right? It is a sweet picture book.

Cute story about a bunny getting ready for school. Bunny tries on a few outfits which are not really appropriate for school, which is sure to give little kids a giggle. Eventually, bunny, is off to school being wished a good day. The story is written in English and Spanish. Teachers and parents could use this to teach a few words of a second language. The story is not overly involved which makes suited for a very young child.
