This was fun ! Melissa and Alexander are not getting a break from their problems, are they ? I had to read the other two books before beginning this one, but the series was entertaining. Sebastian and Joss Baker are very good 'bad people'.

The plot is well-paced, suspenseful and just the right amount of thrill. Some twists were disturbing, but they added a lot of 'oomph' to the plot. Love and hate are two sides of the same coin, I guess. Both need so much passion and there was no shortage of that in this series.

I enjoyed the very satisfying end to this series.

I thought to myself- I'm in the mood for a dark mafia style romance story.
This was perfect! Just what I wanted to read. Interesting characters, good plot, hot sex, and some dark themes.

The third book in The Rose Series, Alexander and Melissa face many obstacles in their quest to become man and wife and for Melissa to deliver her babies while trying to fend off the Evil of Sebastian and Joss Baker.

After everything Melissa and Alexander have been through, surely they will all come out on the other side healthy and happy.

We also get to witness the growing love and romance between David and Catalina and if we are lucky, maybe we will have some more titles in this series.

Thanks to Netgalley and Teardrop Productions for the opportunity to read and review this title.

This is the Third part of the Rose Series. The Red Rose is not a standalone story and the previous two books must be read first in order to read the 3rd book. The conflict and rivalry from "The White Rose" continue in book 3 and things become more and more dangerous and intense. Alexander and Melissa are extremely happy and everything is going so well for them until her cousin, Catalina disappears! This book is filled with twists and turns , tons of intrigue and suspense!! The characters did experience tragic events earlier and were coming along with the scares left behind. Everything comes to a head finally in this book and many revelations do occur in this book. What a fast paced story that equates to a fast read! The story and characters really draw you in and takes you on quite an emotional rollercoaster ride.

My Rating: 4.5 stars *****
“I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."

Melissa and Catalina had been through so much. And I was sick of Sebastian and his psychotic antics. This book is filled with twists and turns and lots of intrigues, I'm glad the Kane men were up for the challenge. It was a good read. You definitely need to read in order, just so you will be caught up with the goings-on. I voluntarily read this book via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Review by Rose for Love Romance Books Blog

I give this book 4 Stars
I was given this book for an honest review...

Part 1
The plot so far is good. I am just not sure about this book yet. It jumps around a lot. The next sense starts and there is no warning that something has changed until you are a few sentences in then you figure out that it is a different scene. I am getting ready to start the 2 nd part . Hopefully it is a little more pieced together.

Part 2
Still jumps a little but but not much. However, the plot has gotten a lot better and far out weighs the negatives that I found. I love that it is Billionaire against Psycho against Billionaire! One billionaire , Alexander, is out for love, Psycho, Sebastian, was out to get something back that was never his to begin with, last billionaire , Joss, was out for revenge!
Alexander had always been part of the party crowd and never though of himself as the settle down type of guy until he met Melissa. Melissa turned his world upside down. He knew he had to have her for the rest of his life no matter she had going on in her life!
Melissa had been full of life as a teenager. That all changed when she was on Holiday with her family and cousin. She had been approach by a guy and she went with him. They hung out then later that night he and his 2 friends held the cousins captive. Melissa had been raped repeatedly, her innocence stolen in the process. However, she did not let that effect her years later when she finally found the love of her life. There is one major problem, and that is that Sebastian does not want to let his soulmate go!!
Part 3
Is just as action packed as part 2! Once you hit part 2 this book really comes to life. There are accidents, kidnappings, and babies! All of it is with a twist. I can't give it all away but you have to see how a suicide note can really help set someone free!

This is the third book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. This is a fast-paced read with lots of suspense and drama. The story and characters really draw you in and takes you on quite a ride. Catalina has been kidnapped and is being used as bait, will it work? A good read.

The conflict and rivalry from "The White Rose" continue in this installment, and become more and more dangerous.

Alexander and Melissa are bathed in happiness about their forthcoming event when a big problem arises. Her cousin, Catalina disappears!

Melissa is still on Sebastian's radar and he knows that she would do anything for her family. He succeeds into baiting her to meet him and she has to use deception to avoid alerting anyone of this meeting. She believes that he won't hurt her, but he is so desperate that he is contemplating the unthinkable. She walks straight into a trap!

David has found out that Catalina has gone missing, the hard way. He is distraught by the news and joins Alexander in his search. What happens next is violent and distressing. When they feel that the danger has passed, someone else intervenes to make matters even worse. Can they find a way to thwart the threats once and for all? Failing would only bring more misery.

Sebastian is obsessed, but surprises everyone in the end. Joss is driven by vengeance and guilt. Some of the revelations are quite shocking. David and Catalina find their soulmate in each other and what they have to face to get peace and happiness is heartwrenching. Melissa and Alexander are passionate about each other and their love is so profound that it's palpable. Gisele tries to play her cards right, but she too has an unpleasant surprise.

The Red Rose is a dark and intense novel. It's fast paced and danger is everywhere. There is loyalty, hate, anger, betrayal and deviousness. David, Catalina, Melissa and Alexander have a terrible fight on their hands before they have their happy endings. It's an emotive page turner which captured my attention from beginning to end. A well portrayed complex story.

I was kindly issued with an eARC and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

Overall I found "The Red Rose" to be an interesting and dark story. A twisted and dark romance with a unique plot. I was a little confused in spots but did find the ending satisfactory. Not for the faint of heart.

The Kane's are still here. They are fighters and protective when accosted and AS THEY SHOULD BE!!! Melissa and Catalina are in love and these women are fierce protectors of their families. Sebastian is still around and Joss has plans up his sleeves. Everything comes to a head and is suspenseful and to me quite predictive. More revelations in this book. Fast read! I enjoyed this series and it is best to start with the first book in this series. Not bad at all.
I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley at my request for my honest opinion. Thank you Net Galley!!!

This is the Third part of the Rose Series. The Red Rose is not a stand alone read. I had not read the previous books and although I enjoyed parts of this story; the characters had experienced tragic events earlier and were traveling with the scares left behind. The HEA reigned at the end with family loyalty and love prevailing. So... read this series from beginning. "A copy of this book was provided by Teardrop Productions via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

I enjoyed the story of Melissa and Alexander. Their romance was steamy and their path to an HEA was full of twists and turns. I also liked the added romance of David and Catalina. Reading about the traumatic past of Melissa and Catalina was hard, but it gave an added depth to their story. The Kane brothers also come with loaded pasts that added more to the story. The villains in this book seemed a little far fetched, but they didn't detract from the story. Overall, I liked this book and grabbed a copy of the first two novels because I wanted to see how Alex and Melissa's story began. I'm excited to read those and would recommend this read.
