I am fairly new to this author and I have to say, I am now a true fan. I loved this story.
The book centers around Navy SEAL Dex Evans and nurse and single Mom, Kenna Wright.
Dex’s friends have signed him up on an online dating service as SailorBoy69 and while they think it’s a great prank, he is not too happy. But nice guy that he is, he has decided to send all the ladies that reply a note of thank you but no thank you. When he is almost done with the 200+ replies, he finds one from Kenna. She’s been on the site but has never replied to any of the prospects but decides to write SailorBoy69 a very funny email sure he would never reply. That’s how their “friendship” begins.
They meet in person and though there is an attraction, Kenna is very reserved, plus she thinks Dex would never go for someone like her.
When danger arrives at Kenna’s door, Dex and his friends get serious about protecting her, her sweet son, and her Mom.
I love all the characters in this book, both the main and the secondary characters. You will fall in love with Dex and Kenna. He is a protector and an honorable man, and Kenna is a mother bear when it comes to her son, who is a great kid.
A story that is filled with stand up guys, an evil stalker, funny characters, touching moments, and of course , romance.
Definitely looking forward to more books in this series and anything else this author will be writing.
I was gifted this copy by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I just loved this author and her books. I’m especially loving this series as it has everything I’ve come to love and except in a Caitlyn o’Leary book and so much more. Action, adventure, intrigue and loads of romance to keep you glued to the pages and hold your attention from the first page till the very last word. The characters are just fantastic and they really take you on a journey with them through the book. Even the secondary characters are just amazing and really bring the book together. Loving this series so much and I can’t wait for the next book. If it’s anything like this one then it’s going to be one hell of a book too. I would totally recommend this book and this amazing and talented author to everyone. You should have one of her books in your book library, I have absolutely loads of them, one of my favourite authors out there and will always have me coming back for more.

This was a fantastic read. I got hooked right from the start. I love a book that can get me to burst out with snort laughter, get heated up right along with the characters and feel all the feels with the characters.
The action in this book was so heartstoppingly realistic, I was holding my breath a lot, very intense.
Great characters, Dex was every woman's fantasy, so caring. Kenna was so strong, stronger than she knew, esp when it came to her son and anyone else she loved.
Great ending and I could sigh with relief and happiness

I really enjoyed this book. The story was so engaging it was hard to stop reading once I started. The characters made me laugh out loud. I loved this story. Kenna and Dex are perfect for each other. I can't wait to read about the others in the SEAL team. This book can be read as a stand alone. I would recommend this book.

Her Devoted Hero is sweet and hot and has a nice amount of suspense and intrigue.

Dex is a SEAL whose team has pranked him by setting up a profile for him on a dating site. He's gotten tons of responses, but he's only been intrigued in one of the replies. Her name is Kenna, she's a feisty, funny, neurotic single mom who's a hard working nurse. When the two start conversing on the site, they find themselves drawn to each other and Dex is determined to get Kenna in his life. But, she's got lots of trust issues, she has her teenage son to think about, and a man and a relationship is the last thing she needs, or so she says. But, Dex wears her down with his swoony ways and soon they're hot and heavy. But, when Kenna starts receiving threats and it looks like she's got an unknown person after her, can SEAL Dex and his team protect her and her son?

I really like Dex and Kenna together. Their chemistry is hot, and their emotional connection, combined with the intrigue and action is entertaining and fast paced. I'm definitely looking forward to more from this series and from Caitlyn O'Leary.

This is the first book I've read by this author. I found the characters of Dex and Kenna likeable and was rooting for their HEA. I also enjoyed the plot, and though I figured out who the villain was before it was revealed, it didn't lessen my enjoyment of the suspense aspect. What I struggled with, however, were the numerous grammatical errors and even some plot inconsistencies. The book needs a thorough edit to tighten up the story and at least decrease the number of distracting errors. I found myself scratching my head when reading certain passages that simply made no sense; how these types of problems got past an editor or even beta readers is beyond me, but if this author has any of these people providing input, then something went wrong.
