You can't go wrong with the entertaining characters in Neggers romance novels. The visit of old characters and the unexpected presence of an old love make for an engaging plot. You will feel yourself near the river and unwind and enjoy.

A failed financial analyst turns event planner who returns home to find a way to fit in even though she has grown up. Mix in an old friend who hints at more and a mysterious woman who keeps popping up with not so good intentions possibly and you will have this book. All of the characters are so well formed and you get caught up in the story and want everything to work out well for all. Reading this was like going on a vacation out up in the mountains where there are streams and hiking trails and lots of countryside to enjoy!

This is the eighth book in her Swift River Valley series. Very good series, highly recommended.

If you’re in the mood for a little romance, this is the book for you, Felicity MacGregor is an events planner in her hometown when her old pal Gabriel Flanagan returns. He’s a big deal, these days, a business man worth beau coup bucks, and he’s come home to attend the business boot camp that Felicity organized. The two have to face the past and the unfinished business between them, perhaps giving love a second chance?

This is an ongoing series and this is the 8th book in the series. I did enjoy this book and the characters. This story is about return home as an adult and finding love and family
