The Hero was too unlikable and the story could not hold my interest. It took me weeks to finish.

Rocco and Nicole started a marriage before they were ready for it. They did not know each other very well; therefore, they did not trust each other either. When their marriage was hit with one of the most difficult misfortunes some couples experienced, they were not fully prepared to face it as a couple; so, they drifted apart. They separated without clearing the misunderstandings and this affects them later as they meet again. Rocco was very close-minded and although I understand his motives, I still did not like him very much. Nicole was trying to be strong and I can see and understand the reasons behind her actions. This is one of those stories where the hero does not deserve the heroine. I should have liked it more if Rocco had put more effort to earn Nicole’s trust and deserve her love. The story is nice; even though I did not care much for Rocco, I still wanted Nicole to have her happy ending. I received a free copy via NetGalley.

This is Nicole and Rocco’s story. He was a tycoon and she was a cleaner in his building. They got married because she was pregnant. She lost the baby. He left so she left. He comes to find her and makes her come to Monaco to help him. They want each other sexually. He won’t tell her his feelings. True love wins in the end. Great book.

ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Sharon Kendrick is one of my all time favorite romance authors. I've pretty much read every book she's ever written and Bound to the Sicilian's Bed is another winner. Who can resist a steamy romance featuring a hot Sicilian alpha male, a sweet female heroine and lots of misunderstandings and emotional turmoil. I especially liked the epilogue ... I love that peak into the future.

I always love Sharon Kendrick. She writes a good story with complex characters.

Rocco Italian, sexy, handsome and rich but still wrapping it in this great package his wife left him. He had broken every rule by falling for and taken Nicole’s virginity, she had been his employee. They had a short lived marriage and now after two years of separation he wanted her help or he wouldn’t sign the divorce papers. I liked this book a lot and I would have given it five stars if Rocco hadn’t been so cold at times. It needed a little bit more romance and not just at the end of the story which was awesome. I still recommend this one, I finished it one rainy Sunday.

Sharon Kendrick delivers once again. Her grieving heroine, Nicole, serves her emotionally depressed husband with divorce papers. When he shows up on her doorstep demanding a reconciliation for show in exchange for not contesting the divorce, can they keep their distance from one another when all their bodies and hearts seem to want is each other?

I received a complimentary arc from netgallery.
This was a fun one. I like the funner romances than intense and both Rocco and Nicole were a fun couple. They don't really have a lot of anger or bitterness between them and I think thats what I enjoyed about them as characters.
Nicole wants a divorce and Rocco says no way unless she becomes his wife for a weekend. Then he will sign the papers. As he gets to know his almost ex wife Rocco find he enjoys her more than her younger self. Then when is grandfather gets ill they travel together to see him.
The main plot of this story is Nic loves Rocco, Rocco lusts for her but he has no use for love. They married before because she got pregnant and he was this rich guy while she was the maid at his office building he lusted for.

Nicole and Rocco have unfinished business as far as Rocco is concerned. Nicole is ready for closer and is in a good place so it's time to move on from her marriage to Rocco. Nicole and Rocco have been separated for a couple years. And it's take Nicole sometime to be in a healthy and secure place to finally ask Rocco for the terminations of their marriage.
Nicole was a office clean in Rocco's buisness/offices and that's how they met. Rocco was attracted to Nicole and wanted a brief and fun affair. Nicole was drawn to Rocco immediately and couldn't believe he felt the same in return. They begin a affair and when Rocco begins to feel to much for Nicole he begins realizing it's time to end things but in the process to ending the affair he also started treating her in a manner that was degrading (in my book) in hopes of Nicole breaking things off. This part I found distasteful and very off putting, for both the hero and heroine. But a surprise awaits both of them as Nicole becomes pregnant, so the two decide to marry. They have tumultuous and passionate marriage, but tragedy strikes and Nicole losses the baby.
Nicole left Rocco and was determined to get her life together and find purpose for herself. We begin the story with Rocco finding Nicole after receiving divorce papers from Nicole. Rocco and a lot of unresolved issues with Nicole and was determined to find out how and why things unfolded as they did as well and maybe some payback, in a sense. The two begin the process of trying to come to some agreement that satisfies both but as they begin to learn they had some false preconceived notions of each. The two then realize that they never really stoped caring for each other and so the relationship takes a new turn.
Found this to be a dry and flat read. The characters were uninspiring and lacked depth. I never connected with either character and it took me over a week to finish. I lost interest at times and found it difficult to pick up and finish.

Sharon Kendrick is one of my go to Harlequin authors. Lately her releases have been a little hit or miss but this one is a hit. Hot blooded Sicialiian's all work, no play lifestyle leaves his wife cold. They married because she was pregnant and deep down I think he felt he married beneath himself.
She leaves, he comes by with a deal to secure their divorce. Of course sparks fly and they climb between the sheets once again. But she makes him work for it. At the end I wanted to punch him in the nose he was so arrogant, but all ended well.
