Synopsis: Zoe and her best friend since Junior High, Lexi, bonded when Lexi allowed Zoe to share her celebrity crush on Chase Covington with her. Their friendship is still strong, as is their crush, although they are in college now. One day, Zoe responds honestly to a tweet on Chase's account asking what everyone thought of his latest movie, and tells him that he's done better. Chase tweets her back, and even though Zoe doesn't think that it is the real Chase talking to her, but one of his assistants, she responds.
Then Lexi, who wants to be an actress, meets a station manager who gets her in to a surprise interview with Chase, who in turn invites Lexi and Zoe to be extras in a new movie that he is shooting. When Zoe actually meets Chase, she realizes that it was actually Chase Covington who was tweeting her. Then she accidentally hurts Chase's PA, and since she just lost her part time job, she agrees to take his place, working around her school and internship schedule.
Chase and Zoe get closer, until they decide to act on their attraction and to try dating. They both agree to keep it quiet, and Zoe uses that as an excuse to not tell Lexi or her mother. But secrets like that can't be kept forever, and the bubble that they are living in might make a mess when it breaks.

What I liked: how the relationship built slowly and organically. Zoe didn't go all gaga for the guy and completely throw over school and her work because she was in love, and Chase understood that. He also respected her determination to remain chaste until she got married. Although Zoe was strong in her schooling and career goals, she was more wavering in her dealings with her family and her friends, which made her seem more like a real person, as opposed to a perfect paragon. The secondary characters, especially Zoe's siblings, were fully realized and contributed to the story.

What I didn't like: how Zoe kept her relationship with Chase from Lexi, the person who knew everything about her, and who had shared everything with her since they were teenagers. I also didn't really like how Zoe never really talked to her mother to find out more about her life, just went on with Zoe's childhood-tainted view.

Overall impression: this was my first read by this author, and I absolutely loved this book. This was amusing, with character growth, and fully realized (although highly romanticized) characters. I recommend this for anyone who likes amusing, well written stories and characters.

I love this trope --- movie star/celebrity falls in love with a "muggle" and they lived HEA.

This book has such a fun, feel-good, flirty and swoony storyline. It's really clean and "wholesome" even --- cleaner than some books that are tagged as YA. So if you're looking for smut, this isn't the book for you.

A good book with a cute storyline and great characters!

Zoe has had a crush on famous superstar Chase Covington since she met her best friend at the age of 12, and was introduced to all things media.

Now a college senior about to graduate, she tweets an answer to a question on Chase's twitter account. This launches the movie star and fan girl into a conversation, friendship, then relationship.

Zoe can't believe that this guy would really like her, especially because she's celibate. But he respects all of her boundaries. She keeps all that is happening from her best friend and family in an effort to shield herself from the thought that things won't really work out.

The twist happens when a fellow intern, anxious to get a possible job they are both vying for after graduations, steals private photos and information about Zoe and Chase, their relationship is tested. Chase has to decide if he's willing to trust the girl-next-door, who has stolen his heart. Zoe has to fight her past and present to get over the hurts in both.

The story was a little schmaltzy, but cute. I thought a couple of times that the story was close to the end and it was, but I'm glad it ended the way it did and we got the epilogue.

I would be interested in reading the next book in the series.

This has an intriguing storyline that I really enjoyed from start to finish with characters that I absolutely enjoyed.

This book was cute but I have read many books to this similar set up and theme previously, which sadly also made it a bit unforgettable as it blends in to the others. Even the virgin and celebrity storyline has happened before. If I hadn't read Someone else's fairytale by E. M. Tippett I may not have been as disappointed with this one, as it would have been a bit more fresh, but sadly that wasn't the case.

It starts with one innocent tweet to a celebrity. Never ever did Zoe Miller think that Chase Covington would tweet back. Eventually the two meet in person and a sweet relationship follows but Chase doesn't trust easily. However, it was quite predictable so you knew what was going to happen and how. Then it did then the realization of being wrong and needing to fix the wrong happens and then all is right in the world

Zoe's siblings might have been my favorite part of the book. They were more memorable than Zoe and Chase sadly. I didn't love it but I also didn't hate it.

Beautifully written, wryly funny, totally topical, heartwarming romance. Oh, okay, you don't know any movie stars and aren't likely ever to meet one (although you may spot a celebrity or two in passing, if you get lucky and are paying attention). But issues such as trust and love and introversion and misplaced priorities (hint: one of the mothers eventually got it right) are always on the money. Plus #fangirl #Cinderella story! Well done, Ms. Wilson! Note: #StormReaders suggested I check out #NetGalley for this title. Thanks so much for the recommendation!

#Starstruck by Sariah Wilson is the first in the new series, Lovestruck. This is a fun book that uses Twitter to communicate young love.

Zoe Miller is in her final semester of college to get her accounting degree. Zoe shares an apartment with her best friend Lexi. Lexi grew up with Zoe and she is Zoe’s only friend (a fact I found difficult to wrap my head around since Zoe keeps secrets from Lexi!) Both girls have grown up watching Chase Covington on screen, from child actor to movie star. And both girls loved Chase.

Zoe uses Twitter and follows Chase Covington. Zoe comments on one of Chase’s tweets giving her true feelings about his latest movie performance. Chase replies directly to her and then PMd her! And their relationship begins. Zoe and Chase’s relationship is a very slow burn. Zoe is determined to save herself for her marriage which has been a deterrent to past beaus, but Chase sticks around. Chase is very sweet and the dates he shares with Zoe are sigh-worthy. However, Zoe is very insecure in the relationship, believing Chase would never really be interested in her. She uses this as an excuse not to share the relationship with Lexi or anyone else. Of course, when you’re dating a famous movie star, it won’t be long before everyone knows about it.

I enjoyed this book and the use of Tweets for communication was a cute spin.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review an ARC of this book and I am providing my honest review.

Smart entertaining romance with terrific characters. A well written story that’s funny, sweet and romantic. Loved the social media aspect of the story and the slow burn romance between Zoe and Chase was wonderful. Worth the read.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can’t say it enough. There is so much to this book. I absolutely hands down loved this book. I have never read this author before, but saw the premise and wanted to read it so badly. I was thinking a celebrity that can get any girl he wants and makes headlines because of it. The writing and plot were excellent with well rounded and developed characters. The pace was perfect. Again, I loved every second of it. I was pulled in and not let go from the very first page until the last. This book is different from all other romances I have read.

There was some spice and lots and lots of kissing. That’s it though, but it was so refreshing and it really worked for both the characters. They both respected each other's wishes, boundaries and thought process.

You have Zoe and her best friend Lexi that have had a crush on Chase Covington since they were teenagers. Now she is in her 20’s and still does. She is strong, smart and passionate about her beliefs.
Chance is an actor with an avid Twitter fan base. He is smart, handsome and has tons of followers. He cares about his mom and friends.

They meet on Twitter as I said, then when her friend Lexi has to go for an interview and she chats it up and drops Zoe’s name from the Twitter comments. Not going to say why though, you need to read and find out. Now, let's not forget that Lexi loves Chase even more than Zoe and he is actually her future husband and father of her kids. Well, in her mind really. Even though she has a boyfriend who she adores.

I love the down to earth nature of Chase. He and Zoe can’t be any more different. She wants to wait until marriage to have sex and Chase has it all the time. Zoe comes from a loving family and Chase’s mom has been married so many times. Then they are so much alike. Their sense of humor and they tell like it is. That's what draws Chase to Zoe.

There are ups and downs and funny and serious times. I could not tell you how much I liked this book. It feels real and what girl could not relate to Zoe. She crushed on him and has followed his career for a while. Now at the same time, she is a woman with beliefs and can't believe that he really wants her a plain Jane. Her words. She thinks he is her friend. She can't believe he wants her. She is withholding and she is afraid once she does the bottom will drop out.

The secondary characters are awesome.I l adored one's younger siblings and the interaction between Chase and Zia. I loved Lexi and Zoe’s friendship. Lexi is a spitfire. I loved the progression of the friendship between Zoe and Chase. The book was great to begin and through the middle and has the perfect ending.

Join these two and find out how they meet you won’t be sorry. I am waiting patiently now for the next installment.

One of the things that you will like is that it is clean and when she met Chas he was bether than imagined.. However I am also going to tell you what I didn't like, first and foremost was Zoe lying to like everyone. So we have her sticking to her conviction of not sleeping with someone before marriage so I appla5her for that, so why may I ask does she feel the need to lie. I have a best friend that has been my best friend for over 30 years and she would be the person I would confide who would route for me and tell me I am wrong when needed, so I couldn't accept Zoe reasoning.

Starstruck is book one in the new series, Lovestruck, by Sariah Wilson. This is one of those books that keeps all of our fairy tale fantasies alive. This book made me smile and had plenty of warm and fuzzies. And I have to say, it has the best ending ever.

Zoe Miller had a slightly unconventional upbringing. She’s now in her final semester of college about to get her accounting degree and shares an apartment with her childhood best friend, Lexi. Lexi was really her only friend, had been since they were kids. The biggest thing they had always shared was their love of the movie star, Chase Covington. Going from a child actor to now a mega movie star, they had grown right along with him, never altering from love for him.

Lexi didn’t use twitter but Zoe did and she followed Chase Covington. When she responded to one of his tweets, she couldn’t believe it when he replied directly to her. Chase Covington had tweeted her! Then he private messaged her, and their friendship began.

“Every time Chase deliberately substituted a Z for an S, it was a special tweet meant just for me.”

Somehow Lexi had met Chase’s publicist and found out where he was going to be doing an interview so he got them in. Zoe never told Lexi about the tweets. It was her secret. And now she was going to be seeing him face to face!

“People always said, “Don’t meet your idols.” But they were wrong. Because real-life Chase was a million times better than on-screen Chase.”

Zoe and Chase begin dating, first just as friends, and slowly evolving into more. Zoe and Chase both have secrets that they eventually share. Zoe, for many reasons, has made the decision to save herself for marriage. This fact has run off many previous dates. She’s sure that when she shares this fact with Chase, it will run him off as well. But it doesn’t. Still, he hasn’t even kissed her yet. His words and tweets say one thing but his actions say another. Zoe is constantly second guessing her relationship. She can’t believe someone like him would really be truly interested in someone like her. So, she doesn’t share the fact that they are dating with anyone, even Lexi. She’s so unsure about everything. Plus, it is all so new, they both are kind of just enjoying being in their own little bubble.

“There was just something about being with him that felt right. Made me feel safe. As if I had figured out where I really belonged.”

But of course, with someone as famous as Chase, their bubble would eventually burst. Was what they shared strong enough to withstand it? Or was the fairy tale too good to be true?

This book was just one of those sigh inducing, warm and fuzzy romances that we all need from time to time. Chase wasn’t perfect, he was, in fact, human. I fell in love with him right alone with Zoe from the start. I completely understood why they wanted to keep things a secret but do wish she might have trusted Lexi with it sooner. The dates he planned for Zoe were so amazing and over the top. And the ending was perfect. I actually heard myself sigh. And realized I was smiling, big! There is no sex in this book so it can be read by all ages. Though her resolve is tested, Zoe sticks to what she believes is the right decision for herself. And I loved that Chase respected her choice. This is the second book I’ve read by this author. I most definitely look forward to more in the future.

This is the first book I have ever read from Sariah Wilson. I don't know if I can really put how I felt about this book into words...but I'm sure going to give it my best shot! Let me just start by saying this book was just SOOOO AHHHH-MAZINGGGGG!!!!!

We have all been young and had a crush, right? Typically we've crushed on a few celebs at some point. In the age of social media it's so much easier to reach out to thesr crushes. Too many times people take it too far and it can get creepy. In this book Zoe does use social media to reach out to her crush. Thrn when he actually responds?!?! Gasp! It begins an amazing story that takes you through getting to know someone. First using social media and then in person. Sariah takes you on a journey through normal, everyday, girl-next-doot, introvert Zoe and hunky, built-like-a-tank, fabulous, actor Chase. You get to read about them learning about each other and discovering everything there is to know...including all the skeletons in each other's closet. The book is written from Zoe's perspective. Which gives you a bit of a look into what you, yourself might go through and be feeling if you found yourself in the same situation. You get to follow along on the ups and downs of discovering young love.

But there is more in this book than just Zoe and Chase's love story! There is also the story of Zoe's relationship with her best friend Lexi who is also a Chase fangirl. Zoe & Lexi's friendship is a story inside the story. Plus we get the dynamics of Zoe and Chase's relationships with their mothers. Which really helps reveal a lot about how both Zoe and Chase have become the young adults that they are in the story. I loved seeing Zoe's relationship with her mom grow and develop through the story.

When I first started reading this book I figured it was going to be a simple read: girl goes all fangirl over a movie star, there is a chance meeting, they fall in love. End of story. I so did NOT expect what I actually got! Sariah has a way of slowly developing her story and laying everything out in such a way that all of a sudden you can feel this story in your heart. I felt like I was reliving falling in love. I laughed. I seriously cried! I felt every emotion that I had felt when I discovered the love of my life. I felt vulnerable and scared. I felt giddy and happy. I felt insecure and totally safe all at once. I could completely relate to feeling like everything was perfect while you were together in your "relationship bubble", and then insecure and doubtful while you were apart. This book made me remember everything that I had felt back in the beginning. This book was better than any marriage revitalization course for me!!! It made me feel younger again. It made me recall everything and feel like I was reliving it. It made me appreciate everything I went through. I honestly can't say enough about how great this book was! If you're looking for a sweet, clean read that will make you remember what it felt like to fall in love and get your heart broken, to learn how to heal from a broken heart and how to forgive so you can move on.....this IS the book for you!

#Zase was a cute celebrity name. I love when the regular/normal girl Zoe Miller catches the eye of the hot hollywood actor Chase Covington. Ahh their romance was sweet as they slowly grew to trust each other. Zoe having grown up with Amish grandparents and her sticking to her belief system was an great inspiration to read. Chase handling it all and just trying to give her the world one wish at a time. The trivia was great bonus.

My first book by Wilson and it will not be my last.

I loved this book. It was funny, dreamy intense, well-written story with great characters. It is a story that gives hope to all those girls who have a crush on a celebrity. Both Chase and Zoe are great characters you fell in love in both in an instant. Zoe is a funny introvert geeky college girl. Chase is hot Hollywood actress and faith really connect them so they start their unusual relationship until somehow their pictures end up in the paper and trust is broken. I loved how in the end Zoe grows up; she deepens her relationship with her mother and best friend. She stands up for herself in the foundation and finds a great job. And of course, she forgives the man she truly loves. I had fun reading this book and pages just flew by. Great job Sariah Wilson!
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

The concept of this book was great, but the execution didn't cut it for me. Zoe really annoyed me and I found myself skimming through her inner monologue. For the majority of the book, she was constantly putting herself down, but never really came to terms with her insecurities. The fact that she told no one about dating her celebrity crush was hard to believe and the justifications for her lies were weak to me. Also, the idea of this celebrity suddenly falling for her based on her tweets alone was hard to suspend belief for. There were parts of Zoe and Chase's romance that were cute, but overall this book wasn't for me.

#STARSTRUCK is the first in the #Lovestruck series. I’m going to guess that they will each stand on their own. Time will tell.

What a cute and unique story!! I wish I could figure out a way to capture some of the tweets that were shown in the book. The humor was amazing.

Zoe is an internet Cinderella and I was rooting for her the whole way to the end.

Chase has every reason to be cautious, but he’s taking a chance. Chase is a sweetheart all the way through from beginning to end. Yes, he makes mistakes. Everyone does, but I was also rooting for him, too.

That’s when you know the couple belongs together – when you’re rooting for both of them to find their HEA and you know they’ll get there together.

This is the first book I have read from this author. Something I haven’t done in a while and I do love finding new (or new to me) authors! I loved this story and I hope I am able to get to read more from this talented writer.

Note: while I was given this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

We've all had that moment, right?
That instant or moment where we've done something so profoundly stupid that we have to cringe at ourselves.
Well, Zoe Miller definitely knows how that feels too.

The story starts when Zoe replies honestly to celebrity movie star Chase Covington's tweet about his latest movie and Chase is intrigued enough to track her down.
I started reading this book thinking that it was going to be like a number of normal girl meets celebrity hunk books that I've read before and got so much more than I expected.
Zoe and Chase are wonderfully realistic, with layers and dimensions that I just wanted to peel back.
For me, this was one of the sexiest and swoon-worthy books that I have read in quite a while which is saying something because during the book their is no actual sex between the couple throughout the book.
Yes, they share a couple of heated kisses but no explicit detailing of sex in this book, for a number of reasons, which I won't spoil.
I will say, however, that the chemistry and connection between Zoe and Chase is both hot enough to scorch and sweet enough to make you sigh with envy.
Zoe is a character that I can quite easily relate to.
There was many a time growing up where I felt as though I were the 'ugly duckling' of my group of friends, that I was somehow lacking or less than they were. That my place in the group was strictly the bookworm, nerdy friend where they were the pretty girls.
Somewhat similar to how Zoe feels around her best friend.
Zoe, somewhat like myself, is somewhat of an introvert so it seems miraculous and somewhat unbelievable that a megastar celebrity like Chase Covington would want anything to do with her.
Chase Covington is a sexy, swoon-worthy hero that makes my heart melt.
A man who has skeletons in his closet and hidden depths. He's the kind of character that makes me wish a man like that could appear in my life.

I enjoyed this book tremendously and would definitely recommend it.
Fans of T.Gephart's #1 Crush and Harper Sloan's Perfectly Imperfect would really enjoy this book.

I received an early copy of this book from Netgalley.
