5 stars
I Rarely give out 5 stars. The book has to knock my socks off to get 5 stars from me. This book deserves more than 5 stars. It was brilliantly written, witty, smart, sassy and intelligent. It is not your run of the mill romance between an actor and a fan. It is such a great story that was written for people who are looking for something different. No insta love, no hot love scenes.... but it worked. It worked so well, I did not want to put the book down!

I loved the characters. Chase was a movie star with a heart and a soul. Not a jerk at all. More like someone you would want your daughters to meet and fall for! Zoe was intelligent, had amazing morals and a head on straight. I was in complete love with how everyone was and thought in this book! I can not say enough about the writing, the characters and the plot! It was an amazing read! 5 million stars!

So i don't usually cry because i'm not a crier. When i do cry, it's for books. This is one of them. I read this, and now i view love different. The story had me envisioning my life with a guy who'd be like Chase (let's be real though, he won't be a celebrity). I laughed until i snorted, cried and put some love songs on while doing so, and i just fell in love with this book. THANK YOU for this opportunity to have read a wonderful story that unfolded pretty nicely.

Oh my gosh. Yummmmmm. This was just a fun ride from start to finish. Couldn't put it down. This book was just dessert to read. If you love a good romance with some great tension and good characters this is for you. I didn't know if this author could pull off this story line and make it believable but she did. Woowza! This is a clean read but has many many references to behind the bedroom door. So many great one liners in this book and so much good honest fun! Fish are Delicious! #Z+C

#Starstruck is the first book by author Sariah Wilson that I have read. I absolutely adore this book. I would certainly recommend it to my friends.

I thought the characters were written quite well. I rooted for Zoe and Chase to get together. I loved the secondary characters as well.

Surprisingly wholesome and sweet. I liked it for the fairy tale that it is

When giving explanations Chase goes above and beyond, “what I want is to lock this door. I want to tear this very nice dress off you. I want to throw you on that bed , and I want, more than I have ever wanted anything, to spend the rest of the night showing you over and over just how attracted I am to you.” I liked when Chase had the easy going personality, “hush, woman. You’ve ruined baseball for me. Now whenever I watch a game, I have illicit thoughts about you.” I liked this book, I loved Chase.

This was a wonderful way to date to dream in a young romance....and maybe as we get older too.

Movie star, Chase corresponds with Zoe through Twitter. She's a college senior with four younger siblings. She is also saving herself for marriage before intimacy. It doesn't scare Chase off. He's remained celibate for another reason.

So the book reads clean without any preachy. I can see where they have developed a strong foundation with each other.

I loved the characters. Her siblings were adorable.

Must read!

I don't know where to start. Except to say 5+ stars! I really didn't know what to expect.
Contemporary Romance? Now a-days you might not be sure just what that means.
My applause goes to Sariah Wilson for giving us a wonderfully
sweet and very clean romance!
This story kept me turning the pages and not wanting to put it down.
Zoe is a delight. Her family mainly her much younger siblings are charming and delightful as well. Especially the youngest that
fall's for Chase who she calls Cheese! All the siblings names start with Z. A little confusing. Zoe's back ground is Amish.
This isn't an Amish story.
Zoe's grandparents left the Amish and moved to California.

Zoe and her best friend Lexie have crushed on Chase since they were teenagers.
They get the chance to meet him but Zoe already has a connection because they've hooked up on twitter.
As soon as the two meet in person the sparks fly. Or maybe simmer.

They are immediately attracted to each other.

Chase begins to think of ways to see Zoe even hiring her as his
personal assistant when his normal assistant is out of commission for a few days because Zoe drops a bowling ball on his toe!

As the story progresses the reader is swept along on a romantic
ride.

I hate to repeat myself but it is just sweet. Chase is a seasoned actor but he is a sweet and compassionate individual.

Of course almost to the end there is a bit of conflict but happily it is all straightened out in time for a happy ending.

I loved Star Struck and look forward to reading many more book
by Sariah Wilson

I received a complimentary copy from Buoni Amici Press.

For anyone who has had a crush on a celebrity or immersed themselves into fandom, #Starstruck by Sariah Wilson will feel familiar; Wilson has managed to illustrate just what it is like to have a crush and the unrealistic dreams a fan has about what will happen when he or she meets his or her crush. This is a fun trope and while Wilson makes it clear this is a fantasy, she also does a fantastic job of inhabiting the characters with depth. She strikes a nice balance between the fantasy of a celeb crush actually liking a fan back with the growing relationship between Zoe and Chase.

For me, what makes this book standout is the characters. Zoe is not just a fangirl and neither is her best friend, Lexie, who is Chase Covington's self-proclaimed biggest fan. Chase is very clearly portrayed as everything a person hopes his or her celebrity crush would be like if met in person. Zoe's family is wacky but fun and Chase's PA and friend, One-F is great. Lexie's boyfriend, Gavin is patient and zen and seriously romantic. Wilson doesn't just focus on the relationship between Zoe and Chase and that is something worth reading.

What keeps this from being a five star read for me is, perhaps, idiosyncratic to me. At times, it feels as if Wilson is preaching or lecturing the reader on certain topics - as if she has had these debates in her life and wants to get in the last word. I also thought that the "villain" of the piece (for lack of a better word) was very over the top.

However, Wilson does an excellent job of the slow build romance and relationship between Chase & Zoe and when they face inevitable problems, it is not just solved with a magic wand. For a book in which the premise relies on fantasy, the relationships certainly feel realistic.

4 Stars

-‘Chase. Covington. Just. Tweeted. Me. Me. Regular old Zoe Miller. My heart froze in my chest, and I might have blacked out for a minute. He had like ten million followers on Twitter. He tweeted pretty regularly and tried to engage with his fan base, but how on earth had he seen what I had written? And responded so quickly? I knew I should play it cool. That I should come up with something witty and amazing so he’d never forget me. But I was so excited that Chase Covington had actually responded that I couldn’t help myself. With shaking hands, I tweeted him right back.’-

-‘It was probably what it felt like if you were a nerd in high school and the quarterback started paying attention to you. A situation I had absolutely no experience with.’-

Sariah Wilson is always so relevant, so up-to-date with teenagers and young people. She writes such clever, funny dialogue and is always creative in writing new, original plots for her stories.
I loved the formatting in this book. It was appealing to the eye and easy to read. So much fun!
I am not a teenager and haven’t been one for many years. Yet, Ms. Wilson has a far-reaching audience and, whenever a new book of hers is released, I am always among the first to jump to read her work.
Clean romance, fast-paced, full of humour and great storylines, she never disappoints. I highly recommend all of her books and I loved #Starstruck as well.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was so sweet and good. I love a good clean romance that is sweet and adorable. My only hiccup was those times when Zoe’s insecurities reared its ugly head. Those, as entertaining as they can be, drove me batty. Only because Chase was very open and honest with her and she let her insecurities and jealousy get in the way of what she knew.

Zoe is a great main character. she is fun, introverted, kind, smart and tells it like it is. She sticks by her convictions as well. Her childhood is one that is very unique and gives her a fascinating perspective on things. Her best friend was the pretty one. the one that she felt got all the guys and didn’t have to worry about things as much as she did. Although as we see there is worry in Lexi’s world as well.

Chase is the actor that everyone goes gaga for. For Zoe it started due to Lexi and has been a fandom for those two since the sixth grade. He is kind and caring. His childhood wasn’t filled with love and affection but what he can do for his mom as his life still is. He is very wary to trust due to everyone only getting to know him because they want something from him. He was gone through a lot and is very private for an actor. He notices Zoe on his twitter feed and is intrigued by her. Especially after he challenges him and doesn’t fawn all over him. One thing leads to another and they meet. Only Zoe’s introverted ways come through and it seems awkward. Especially when she does something hysterical to but painful for One-F. This gets the ball rolling for them and their friendship/relationship.

I loved when Chase is with Zoe’s siblings. Especially Zia and how he is with her. That little one is precious. Chase is a very grounded actor. Him and Zoe start by learning about one another and becoming friends. Even though you can feel the attraction it doesn’t go so smoothly. Only because of Zoe’s confusion. I love how she is straightforward about this though. These two give us some very tender and fun moments. They don’t hide from each other but confront one another when needed and deal with things together. They learn to trust one another. I loved that Chase respected Zoe’s stance and didn’t try to push her to do what he wanted. I loved how they supported one another and respected each others views. They had some steamy kisses but this book was about the intimacy without the intimacy in bed. It was about the stolen moments, the trust, the support and understanding they had for one another. The stolen kisses, the talks, silliness and just being together. About respecting one another and learning about the other and finding that love is about not only the intimacy in the bedroom but the intimacy of the mundane-talking, watching movies, holding one another and comforting each other.

These two are to sweet. Zoe and her quirkiness offset Chase and his job which he seemed to be serious. He was so sweet and loving. He is very kind and caring.

Zoe did have herself in a bind but I enjoyed how she knew about Chase’s past and didn’t do as others have even if it meant she lost things in the process. I did enjoy her standing up to others and proving she is stronger than she believes. Chase in the end does something stupid but makes up for it and Zoe learns that love forgives and overcomes the stupid moments, rises up to challenges and defeats them and gives you warmth and support. She finds this with Chase.

this is told from Zoe’s view mainly but we kind of see Chase’s thoughts through his actions. We see Zoe learn about herself and love. Chase learn to let someone in and find love. he changes his view on what love and marriage is as he gets to know Zoe and fall in love with her. They are very open and honest with one another. And Chase’s over the top moment to get Zoe back swoon swoon swoon. Really just a very sweet, adorable wonderfully written and entertaining lighthearted romance that just keeps you smiling and laughing.

This is my first Sariah Wilson book... and I must say that it's actually refreshing. I've read and reviewed a lot of Celebrity-Normal Girl romances and while the whole storyline isn't something new, it did have its uniqueness.

I loved that the heroine, Zoe Miller, was written just like any other regular girl who's had a crush on a celebrity... and even when said celebrity was showing her interest, she held steadfast to her beliefs, and never compromised who she was... that was the unique part of it. Usually a Celeb romance would be so hot and steamy, and don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this book is any less but it's more tamed and it was needed in the story to be that way. And of course, there was the insecurities and trust issues...

To tell ya'll the truth I was frustrated almost as Zoe... the building of excitement between Chase and Zoe being together, "together" was making me anxious lol... But overall it was worth it. Its a cute love story which will leave you sighing and imagining if something like this does really happen in real life...

#Starstruck is amazing. Don't make the mistake of starting to read this before going to sleep when you have to get up early the next day. I literally couldn't put this book down.
Wonderful sweet romance between a college girl and an award winning actor who meet on Twitter. Sariah Wilson has created another rich and interesting world populated by complex, intriguing characters peppered with humour. Definitely recommend reading this book. If you haven't already read the rest of Sariah Wilson's books, please do. You have many happy hours of reading ahead of you.

How does one give an unbiased review on a book she wants to buy for everyone she knows?

First, I love LOVE and everything about it. The whole book was swoon-worthy.

I have yet to be disappointed by this author. While every book/ series is very different some things are constant. Sariah Wilson's writing is like sitting across from a friend recounting an epic "you'll never guess what just happened to me!" Sort of story. The kind that makes you say, "THEN what happened?!"

Zoe is exactly that, realistic where she needs to be while also blissfully unaware of what's building up around her, as many of us have been in love.

One-liners, laugh out loud pop culture references, and just the right amount of anticipation makes this a book that I want all the people reading.

Someone in Hollywood is missing out on a goldmine until this book hits the big screen!

OMG another 5 star book by Sariah Wilson!
I will not restate the plot (you can read that from the book's description) nor reveal any spoilers in this review. What a fabulous story! Sariah Wilson has done the impossible. She has written a romance book like no other. She uses Twitter as the basis for this book. The H is wonderful and shows his vulnerability and the h is down to earth but insecure. Both H and h have trust issues that are part of the core story. The H is a movie star and the h a girl next door type. Two worlds meet and collide. This is a must-read for any true romantic. I laughed and cried and shouted Whoop Whoop at the ending! Hat's off to you Sariah Wilson. Another fantastic book.

#BookLove #BookHangOver #FavoriteCouple #SwoonyRomance #AmazingWriting #StayedUpTooLate #BookBoyfriend #MustRecommendToAllMyFriends

My first book of the new year and the bar has been set. Very high. I already had a book hangover before I even finished reading and I'm seriously contemplating reading it again when I finish writing this review. #ReadAgain #JustDoIt

Not sure if it's clear or not, but I really enjoyed this one. I can't remember the last time I read a book and had a #dopeygrin on my face for pretty much the whole thing. I was sucked into the story right from the start and just couldn't put it down. Seriously, I was #sneakinginpages while helping the kids get ready for bed, brushing my teeth or pretending to watch a TV show with the hubs. #ShhhDontTell

I thought this was (obviously) a really cute and fun book. Zoe and Chase were both very well developed, had amazing #chemistry and the sweetest romance. #Sparks fly right from the start, even before they meet and the anticipation of that first meeting was exciting and swoony. And hello, that first kiss...#WOW.

Zoe was such a likable and relatable character. I love that she was witty, smart and really stuck to her morals. And yeah, I am a total introvert so I totally got her. Chase was swoony, sweet and charming. Their relationship builds at a believable pace, I liked how they're really able to get to know each other. I liked that everything wasn't smooth sailing and they had their own obstacles to get over. I liked that his celebrity status plays a big part of the story, and seeing behind the scenes type stuff was fun. I loved how the #Tweets and #Texts were done and looked amazing.

Okay, I'll stop #gushing now and just insist that you mark your calendars for January 16th and cancel any plans you have for the day, and maybe plan on staying up a little late too. #WhoNeedsSleepAnyway

I loved this book! I started reading it before bed one night and ended staying up until the early morning hours because I could not put it down. Zoe said the funniest things and just made me laugh. I loved that she was quirky. The interactions between Chase and Zoe were sizzling and fun. Zoe's younger siblings added a homey feel to the book that made it even better. If you want a book with definite chemistry but also a sweet love story then this is a book you will want to read.

LOVED this book - it's positively delicious!!! I wasn't sure what to expect as it sounded different from the author's other books, and, wow, this might be her best book so far - and I'm a fan of the author and have read most of her work.

In this novel, Zoe and her best friend are long time dedicated Chase Covington fans and Zoe even follows him on twitter. When she posts a comment and he responds, they begin an elaborate dance communicating through twitter and texts. When they meet in real life, Zoe doesn't believe Chase could be interested in her, so she keeps him a secret from everyone in her life - even as they continue to communicate in a new age version of old fashioned courting through messages. It's interesting and entertaining to see how they communicate in this fashion and to read about how their relationship progresses.

This is a delightful novel that made me smile and root for the characters - I especially enjoyed Zoe's back story. This is a grown up novel, but is suitable for readers from teen to grandma. I hope this is the beginning of a new series and I already can't wait to read what the author writes next. She is on my must read authors' list.
