Gamer/programmer heroine, gigolo hero meet and fall in love. Fun and sexy story.

So, I think I must have requested this by accident without reading the blurb during my quest for Winter sports romances. Which this is emphatically not so that was a bit of a surprise when I started reading it!

I liked Cassidy - a female computer game developer with tons of ideas and even more frustration that her boss won't make them. I liked Gage as well and thought his career was handled quite well. Both of them had some interesting issues that made for a good conflict in the story. I wasn't 100% on board that Cassidy would actually have done what she was doing (cryptic, but spoilers) but was pleased with the way it was resolved. This is *very* steamy and a little bit kinky, but nothing too far from the mainstream, accessible but not erotica.

This was a charming story.

Gage is a gigilo (do people actually still use that word?) who lives in the next building from Cassie. She's a gamer and he can see her from his window. One night he spies her masturbating (lol) and hatches some ridiculous plan to go chat with her. They strike up a fuck-buddy relationship---he never just has sex for fun, and she's been in a bit of a dry spell.

Honestly, if I thought too hard about the plot of this one, I'd probably drive myself crazy. There isn't too much in the development of their friendship outside of sex. But Cassie totally fucks up by using Gage's life as the inspiration for her current game without telling him. I WILL SAY, I did love that the moral crisis in the book was her using him/her dishonesty rather than his sex work. He's always been honest with her about his job, and she's the one who betrays that and has to find a way to fix it.

This was a fun read!

DARE
Desirably Arousing Remarkably Erotic
An unusual take for a romance novel, but really very good.

Great book. I read it in one day since I could not put it down. Grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let go. Gage was perfect. Loved it

I liked how their relationship developed. It was a good story. I was a little bored but it was me because I am not a gamer. Worth reading though.

I don't think that I'd be able to be with someone that I had to use a condom just to give him a BJ. With that being said I did like this book and the idea behind it.
