Nothing like finding a collection of new authors in one spot to get to know and enjoy. There is a story for everyone and touches on some really good kink that will make you want more.

I did not enjoy this book. The stories, while somewhat steamy, lacked substance, with little to no character development.

This was give or take. I expected it to be a little more on the daring or exciting side, given it's title of "Best of" but, it was a good collaboration, nonetheless. I enjoyed it. It wasn't something I couldn't put down, but it got a little exciting for me, at parts.

Lots of short stories submitted by ordinary people, but full of something for everyone! I was upset when some of them ended, because I wanted more!! It didn't take me long to read because I kept wanting to see what the next story was.

This was not my favorite collection. Not one story really jumped out at me. All of the stories were all okay.

I received a free copy of Best Women's Erotica of the Year Volume 3 in exchange for an honest review. The stories were short and sweet and very easy to read. The title and story blurbs are exactly what you get with this book.

3.5 stars. This was a good collection of very short erotic stories. These literally something for everyone. Some were more sweet, some super kinky, and others just weird. They all shared 1 thing- incredibly hot and steamy stories!

This is my first book that I have ever read which was edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel. There were some stories which I have enjoyed, others not so much.

An interesting mix of stories here. Some who I would happily have read more about, others which weren't for me. I thought this gave a good taste of what's available out there - and would be a good way to discover new authors or to work out what sort of tropes you want to read. There were a couple of authors here who I'd be interested in reading more from and particularly longer works from them as I find short stories quite unsatisfying at times - a little glimpse into a world and I'd often like to see more of that world that the short story provides.

Every story in this book is short and sweet but for some reason none of them apealed very much to me. I found them leaning a bit on the sadistic side and im a romantic myself. If your not vanilla all the way, you probably like it!

A very nice collection of women's erotica from unknown writers. Some better than others, but none were bad! Love my sizzle and these are HOT!!

Hot... so hot... so very hot!!! Each erotic short was better than the last! The writing was great, not much of that lame dialogue that so many erotic stories have. I would read this again...

Rachel Kramer Bussel is officially, in my humble opinion, the Empress of literary Erotica. Although I can not claim to have read everything she has written or edited, I still feel this anthology, Best Women's Erotica of the Year, is exceptional and goes well beyond any of her anthologies I've read so far. Rachel Kramer Bussel is well known for her prolific output and her choice in selection in anthologies being not merely "good", they are the standard.

This volume does not only have something for everyone, it has satisfying and pleasant surprises for everyone as well. The authors play around with expectations and each one of them are of a high literary quality. Even if the story is not to your taste you will still enjoy the story line and the well written prose. Rachel Kramer Bussel takes erotica to a much higher level and provides good stories, and original and varied selections.

Hot erotica tasters.
Enough of a short story in each chapter, but not if you like a longer read.

This collection has something for all tastes, and is an even bigger win for someone with a wide variety of interests. Short stories are some of the most fun ways to get more bang for your book, and there were some very hot stories in this one.
