I haven't read a book by this author before. But I have to say I can't wait to read more. Even though this book is the 2nd in the series don't worry if you haven't read the first one.

Jessica and Laurence have been best friends since they were little. He was always like a brother. When she needs to find a place to stay what better than with her best friend. Soon after moving in she realizes that she feels more for him than just friendship. But Jessica worries that the secret she holds will change things between her and Laurence. Thus the problem ... does she risk loosing his friendship by telling him how she feels or does she keep her feelings to herself.

Laurence has been in love with Jessica for years but hasn't said anything for fear that he will push her away. He's settled to be friends. So when she moves in he decides now is the time to put a plan together to get her to be more than just his friend. But he's afraid that his past will ruin everything. But how will he react when she reveals her secret to him?

This was a wonderful love story. It isn't just two people meeting and falling in love, but the story of love and forgiveness.

I loved the gentleness and dedication of the hero Laurence towards his friend and unrequited love interest Jessica.I found the emotions and some of the protagonists' actions precipitous even as the story kept pace and did not lag.The author focused the story on real-life issues such as foster care ,so the plot was not sensational in the least but relatable.I would read more books by this author.

A Love Fulfilled was honestly too easy… There was conflict – but very little. These two recent college graduates went through so many changes and surprises, yet everything was always fine. Where did they work? How did they afford to live? How did they afford a weekend away with friends? How did they afford to throw these big cookouts with family and friends? These things baffled me. Even when danger was looming at the hands of a disturbed third party, everyone just stayed calm and happy. Basically, everything was too perfect.

I love the idea of the story, especially Jess’ surprise (which I cannot share for fear of spoilers), but this one was just wrapped into to perfect of a package for me. The chemistry and story between Ren and Jess was fantastic, other characters were great, but for me, it fell short on depth and conflict that could have strengthened the plot. However, this is a perfect one to pick up for someone looking for a quick, happy read!

*Thanks to NetGalley for providing this novel in exchange for my honest review.

Quick, sweet read. I always love friends to more books and this one didn't disappoint. Felt somewhat rushed and missed out on expanding parts that would have been beautiful.

A Love Fulfilled is a sweet friends to lovers romance. It's a little boring, and not as steamy as I prefer, but it's sweet and both characters are likable and their friendship/romance is adorable.

Jessica and Laurence (Ren) have been friends for years, and now they're roommates because Ren's roommate, Mike, who's like Jessica's brother, is moving out of Ren's apartment. Ren has had more than friendly feelings for Jessica for a long time, and her becoming his roommate has tested those feelings to the point that he can't keep those feelings to himself any longer. But, even after Ren makes his move and finds that Jessica has the same feelings for him, she has a secret that just may tear apart their relationship.

Although I like the premise, and all the characters, both primary and secondary, I was a little bored by it all. There wasn't enough heat for my tastes, and the development of their relationship felt a little flat to me. If I could give half stars, I would, though, and give this ultimately 3.5 stars because the characters were likable, but the story itself was kind of boring.

2.5/5. Average fare, rather light on detail. The author tried to squeeze too much into one book plot-wise incl secret child and crazed stalker. The latter was added to the plot past halfway mark just to prolong the story and then the psychotic person got disarmed abruptly by a stranger, which was really weird. The author would be better off focusing on the emotional aspect of the story of a friends to lovers romance and the pressure of dealing with a baby in their lives. That's adequate fodder for a decent story. Instead they got together way too quickly after years of dallying around, leaving the need I guess to fill the second half with unrelated matter.
