I love this series. It's a good mix of romance and suspense. It also leaves you desperately wanting to read the next book. There's no cliff hanger but you're so invested in the world that you don't want to leave. Just like with the first book in this series I read it in one sitting. I also messaged a few friends and insisted they read the series. I should probably re-read this book because I know I missed things during the action scenes because I was so crazed to find out what happens.

After the drama in Maybe and Alexsei’s book, I knew what to expect with Rachel’s dad. Which thankfully never got as brutal as it did in Unraveled. He’s still awful and a perfect example of how not to be a parent, especially to grown children. But Rachel handles him well and Vic is an amazing support for her.
Together Rachel and Vic are a great couple. The story starts out with them both admitting they’re ready to take their relationship to the next step and give in to the chemistry between them. Surprisingly, Vic doesn’t have any missteps when it comes to Rachel’s recovery and really the only tension for them comes from Rachel’s family.

I received an arc from Netgalley. I really enjoy Lauren Dane as an author however this book was not for me. I tried to stick with it but I did not connect with the characters at all.

Another yummy Russian and this one bakes. She is sister to the previous books heroine and has a normal name. Just as emotional as the previous book, her parents are still sh*ts, but at least we find out more about the kidnapping...kind of.

I was waiting for the story of Victor and Rachel since last book, but I was a little bit disappointed because it seemed that everything was already settled between them, so the only question was about the rest of the family and the way that dad would have handled the Family Vs. Rachel&Maybe topic. I don't think I would read further.
THANKS NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!

Rachel Dolan has a past. She was an FBI agent who got trapped by one of the men she was chasing and it changed her life. Leaving the bureau behind, Rachel was delighted to discover that her talent with art translated into a career as a tattoo artist. Yes, she has a routine and a LOT of locks on her doors. A state-of-the-art seucrity system isn't a bad thing either. It makes her feel safe. Also making her feel safe? Vicktor Orlov.
Vicktor knows Rachel's story but that only impresses him - it doesn't scare him off. He doesn't want to tame her or protect her, he just wants her to live her best life and to help her find a way to do that.
And that was my favorite part of this book, that Vicktor is impressed by Rachel's strength and doesn't down play it at all. I wish there had been more come-to-Jesus with her dad and that we had seen a little more courtship, but overall a pretty good read.
Three and a half stars

I was so excited to dive back into Whiskey Sharp series! In Jagged, we get Rachel and Vicktor’s story and let me say it was full of sweetness, sassiness and steam! Because of the fact we were introduced to both Vic and Rachel in the first book, we could jump right in at full steam—loved that! I thought Lauren Dane did a great job with developing the characters further at the same time keeping the storyline fresh and exciting. I have to say there were several surprising twists and turns! Whiskey Sharp: Jagged in a 4 star read and if you haven’t started this series, start now! I look forward to reading what Lauren Dane has up her sleeve next!

Rachel has been through hell and has trouble trusting others but Vicktor "gets" her and his strong sexy demeanor is just what she needs. Vicktor has been patient waiting until Rachel is ready and now he's all about taking care of her and loving her. Sexy, sweet, hot romance -- I love this series!

Lauren Dane's Whiskey Sharp series is full of heat, heart and emotion.

Another incredible read in the series. I just adore the world Lauren Dane has created in Seattle. The characters just leap off the pages and the relationships are deep, detailed, realistic and fantastic st the same time. Vic is just incredible and Rachel's strength utterly amazing.
I wish there had been more confrontations with Rachel's dad, but that's just because I love watching her kick ass; more wouldn't have worked for the story;).
I can't wait for #3 and I am seeing a re-read of #1 in my immediate future:).
