Except for some sleazy former co-workers, my clearance process was fine. However, in light of D.C. clearance scandals, it was worth reading this primer by a Huntsville lawyer who specializes in shepherding Redstone contractors through the process and managing their appeals.

As someone that went through the clearance process,. I was very interested in reading this book. I found the book to be very informative and I have to agree with the author, it is a very stressful process. I think back now on the questionnaire and must say, I do remember some of the questions saying "EVER" and others wanting a response for a 7 yr time period. It also brought to my attention reasons you can LOSE your clearance. Very informative book and a must read for anyone planning or has to go through the process. To me, this book is esesntial to all, as it brings to light the process and can alert you to how your decisions today can affect future employment, etc. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this informative book in return for my honest review.
