Quick read full of action and hot sexy scene. We were introduced to Seth in the Dirty Money series and he is back in this novella full of suspense.

Amanda will always be one thing to him as he was forced to change. Great start to the series.

I enjoyed this book, and loved the action and suspense. The main characters were interesting and there was plenty of heat. I didn’t even mind that the story would be drawn out into three separate books. I don’t mind cliffhangers, at least not if I’m warned about them from the beginning. But I AM very disappointed that in order to get the rest of the story I will have to buy two more books at $3 each. I’m sorry, but asking a reader to pony up $9 for a story that only clocks in at about 270 pages is ridiculous. Readers deserve better from the author/publisher.

by Lisa Renee Jones

I’m so giddy about this novella!
There is nothing I like more than sexy short reads.
Well throw in Lisa Renee Jones and it’s a #onclick for me.
Poison Kisses was the topping on the cherry! Think sexy, suspense and oh so intense chemistry! GOD YES! It just had me craving the rest of the book like asap!

Back into the "Dirty Money" world but now it's spies and shenanigans. I always enjoyed Seth in the Dirty Money books so it's great that he is getting his own. This was a great start but releasing these in parts is just not cool. What happens next?????

The first part of a three-part series I would say if you like to know what will happen with this couple that you wait and get the whole set. A good well-written start to the series.I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

It was an OK book but it was so short!!! Thank you netgalley and publishers for gifting me this copy cuz I never would have bought it for $2.99!!! For under 100 pages?! That's crazy!! But it was a good story but so not worth that amount of money!

POISON KISSES is purely an adrenaline rush from page one to the end -- and as this is only part 1 with two more parts to come hold on for an action-packed charge. For fans of author Lisa Renee Jones' "Dirty Money" series you quickly recognize Seth as Shane's right-hand man. If you are like me, you were as curious about the man as you were the main character of the former series. Now he has his own and what an incredible start.

Seth Cage is a man with a firestorm of fury that he holds in check and as you read along POISON KISSES PART 1, you see why. Amanda had become his Poison Princess but without explanation she ran and had been in hiding for years. Now back, Seth has plans and one of them just might be to kill her. After all he has been know as The Assassin for a good reason. The chemistry that drew them together is still there in big red flashing neon letters and neither of them are able to ignore or deny it for long. This is so well written that you can feel the sparks flying from the pages as you turn them. The tension between them takes a back seat as they work together on stopping the terrorist attack, though, not for long as these two are very volatile. The action is fast-paced as these two super spies go about saving the world and maybe manage to save each other and their hearts.

POISON KISSES PART 1 is the first of a three-part series to be released back to back so those who hate cliffhangers won't have long to wait. It's filled with action, an explosive couple, a past that needs to be forgotten, explained and forgiven and a world to save. What more can you ask for?

Seth works for the CIA and his work for them connects him back up with his love from 3 years prior. Through out the book you get an idea of what happened to make them have a love hate relationship. With each glimpse I found my self wanting more information than they gave me. This book left me wanting more, so it is a good thing that I don't have to wait long for the next one. This book does end in a cliff hanger so if you don't like cliff hangers wait until you are able to have all 3 so that as soon as you finish one you can read the next one.

I can't wait to see what is going to happen next with Amanda and Seth.

Intriguing and completely captivating. The first part of this Dirty Money Series spinoff, reunites us with Seth Cage. It was easy to figure out that he was the man who got the job done, even if it meant crossing lines, but nothing prepared me for the full truth behind his back story.
A man with Seth's history, doesn't just retire from the CIA. So when they show up at his door with a job, he finds himself on a mission that he never anticipated...tracking down the only woman he ever loved, the woman who betrayed him, and killing her. He was so conflicted, struggling between what he thought he knew and what he believes. Three years ago, Amanda Skye, his partner in every way, ran, leaving him to pick up the pieces. Betrayed and hurt, Seth doesn't know what to believe when faced with Amanda again after all this time.
Jones uses this first installment to set the foundation for the rest of the story. We are given their history through several flashbacks, which were a bit jarring to the flow at times. She also introduces us to several mysteries, their current mission and the truth about Amanda. While the story is short, all of the information is presented in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming.
I tore through this story. There was action and excitement, plenty of steamy moments, and the underlying storyline is enthralling. I need to know what is going on with Amanda. Is she telling the truth? If so, who is behind this conspiracy? Will they be able to stop a madman in time? So many questions and I'm dying for answers!! I'm ready to dive into Part 2.

From the off, I'm not a fan of serials, which has unfortunately affected my review. Occasionally, authors can pull them off, but they tend to be lacking in character development—which is what this suffered from.

Learning more about Seth's background (a supporting character from Jones' Dirty Money series) was an opportunity I couldn't resist. I just found it too fast-paced to really get into it. The plot didn't quite grab my attention, and there was too much focus on the erotica than the suspense/mystery Jones is so good at writing.

So we finally get a story on Seth, and if you have read the Bad deeds saga from Lisa Renee Jones you are wondering who in the world Seth was, I mean we knew a little about him and what he was, but we always wanted more atleast I did..Well we finally get something. We start with him thinking he was betrayed by his love interest Amanda, yet she feels the same, why? well you have to read to find out..I am on a see-saw right now because I don't know if I want to go thru another set of series waiting to get answers.

The start of a new spy mini series that will have you hooked.

From the start you are drawn into a fast paced story that pits two agents Seth and Amanda in a game of wits against each other.

There is a romantic undercurrent to the story they have a history and the chemistry hasn’t gone away. Twists and turns will leave you wondering who to trust.

Poison Kisses is a spin off from the Dirty Money Series, however you don't need to read it to enjoy Poison Kisses: Part 1. In PK, we meet Seth and Amanda who have a history and are brought back together for a new battle with a madman and The Assassin. This is a short and sexy read with good writing and the potential for a second chance romance...

There were a couple of things that didn't work for me here, one being jumps between present and past. I think that I'd have preferred this series of novella's in a one book because I felt like the end of book was was where I was just starting to connect with the characters.

I'll keep reading to see what happens next...

Poison Kisses is a new serial, just three short books. It follows Seth and Amamda. Seth Cage and Amanda Skye have history, work and personal. Seth is known as The Assassin and Amanda is known as The Scientist. Each have their own tricks of the trade that proven successful in their jobs as CIA agemts. Romance has a way of causing trouble in their field of work and is just what happened.

Three years have went by and a case has brought these two reluctantly back together. The tension is thick, nut there is no question there is some serious chemistry between them, even after all this time. Danger lurks at every corner, and with so much mistrust between them and neither is willing to give a little either. The story is filled of plenty if angst, and adrenaline packed action that kept this short story moving at a fast pace.

I am curious to see if these two can move past their past and to see how everything turns out with the hell of a cliffhanger ending. Poison Kisses Part 2 &3 are already out and I will be picking them up very soon!
