I was looking forward to this book for months and was so excited when I got approved to receive an advanced copy. I couldn't wait to read it. Boy, was I disappointed. This was just so different from what I expected it to be. I almost did not finish it. I skipped a lot of the middle just to get to the end.
Parts of the ending were great when Maggie was running around trying to solve the mystery of Anna but then it just went flat again. One great chapter does not make a great book.
I wanted to be crying because this book was so good and so sad like her other books but instead I almost cried because it wasn't good.
Maybe others will like this type of book from this author but not those of us that have read every book she has put.
This type of book should be in her lawyer series not one of her stand alone books.
