“Didn’t he realize that he was dancing to my tune and still had a lot of steps to learn?” This line from one of the two narrators of this story sums up this wonderfully written, suspenseful, thrilling tale with twists galore that keep you guessing and make your head spin, leading you to think you’ve figured it out only to find out you have not. Grabbed me from page one and proved to be a page-turner that I could not put down. Even though I had figured out the main mystery by the end, the suspense was so intriguing that I still give it a 5 star rating. Highly recommend! Thank you to The NetGalley team at St. Martin’s Press for providing me with an egalley of this book.

This is the 3rd book by B.A Paris that I’ve read and in my opinion the best so far. I read it in one sitting, unbelievably addictive until the very end. Although I had worked out what was happening early on, this did not detract from the enjoyment of the read. Full of suspense and fast paced, I couldn’t put it down. A whopper of an ending, brilliantly written. Can’t wait for more! Well done!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for my advance copy in return for an honest review.

Great book! Another hit for this wonderful author. Fooled me till the middle of the book then i couldn't put it down. Would recommend to others for sure. I have this author on my must read list!

I thanks the publisher and netgalley for giving me a early release copy.

This was just great. I loved Paris' other books but this one was SO good. It was refreshing for an almost all male narrative. I've read too many books lately that follow the same recipe: women with drug/alcohol problems, no one believes what she saw, the reader doesn't trust her narrative, etc. This was so refreshing and the twist was different than anything I've read too. My only criticism would be that some of the story in the middle gets a little repetitive, but I really really enjoyed this book otherwise.

Okay first of all thank you so much to Netgalley for providing me with the arc of Bring Me Back. B.A Paris is an Amazon author and her books are always pretty original and intriguing. While I did not like this one as much as Behind Closed Doors, I did like it more than The Breakdown. The way Paris writes is always intriguing and original. Much like her other books, the twists are fairly easy to see coming. That doesn’t make them any less interesting. The only real thing that I didn’t like (slight spoilers?) is the end. I’m her other two books, I feel like Paris wrapped up the books fairly well. The endings were pretty satisfying. This was. Was not. It wasn’t HORRIBLE. But I would have rather it ended a different way. Definitely worth the read, though.

Holy crap was this good!! I requested this from Net galley based on last year's The Breakdown. Which, if I recall, I began one night and couldn't put down. Which is exactly why happened again! So note to future self: if you start to read a B. A. Paris novel, don't make any plans!

This started off with Finn giving his account of the disappearance of his girlfriend , Layla. From there it weaves back and forth from the night of her disappearance to the events happening now. Is Layla dead? Or is she back for revenge? No spoilers here! Read it! That's my advice. I will say, it's a given that I am a huge fan of B.A. Paris now.

This was my first book I've read by this author, but I know she has been wildly popular in the last year or two. I've been wanting to get to one of her books so I was excited to have the opportunity to read the advanced copy of this one.

I love twisty psychological thrillers and unreliable narrators, so this book was right up my alley. The book drew me in quickly, the pacing was wonderful, and the storytelling kept me hooked all the way through. These things were so strong that it compensated for me not really caring about the characters so much. They were complex in ways but not particularly compelling. I didn't love them nor love to hate them, so I didn't really connect with them or care about them. Thankfully, I can still enjoy a great story without that, but it did leave me with enough disappointment to knock my rating down a little. How the story played out and the ending weren't a total shock, as I started piecing it together and figured things out before the story got there, so that also reduced my rating by a bit. All in all, it was a solid 4 star read, and I will definitely go back and read the previous books by this author and any to come. I would also definitely recommend the book to others and will talk it up as a librarian.

When I saw B.A. Paris had a new book coming soon, I knew I had to get my hands on an advance copy so I could share it here. I started this last night and am totally hooked. Bring Me Back captivated me from the first page, always a good sign.

Here’s what it’s about:

A young British couple are driving through France on vacation when they stop at a service station. He runs in to use the restroom, she stays in the car. When he returns, her car door has been left open, but she’s not inside. No one ever sees her again.

Ten years later he’s engaged to be married; he’s happy, and his past is only a tiny part of his life now. Until he comes home from work one day and finds his new fiancée sitting on their sofa turning something over in her fingers, holding it up to the light. Something that would have no worth to anyone else, something only he and she would know about because his wife-to-be is the sister of his missing first love.

As more and more questions are raised, their relationship becomes strained. Has his first love somehow come back to him after all this time? Or is the person who took her playing games with his mind?

I seem to like each B.A. Paris book better than the last! This was really good, suspenseful, fast paced and kept me engaged until the very last word! For those who enjoyed Behind Closed Doors and The Breakdown, I think you will absolutely love this one, I know I did. Some parts did require me to suspend a little disbelief (which is the reason for 4 versus 5 stars here), but I do enjoy that in my thrillers.

It’s been ten years since she vanished from the parking lot of a gas station in France. When he came back to their car, she was gone and no trace of her was ever found. Now, he is hoping for a second chance at happiness, he’s engaged and thinks that he may finally be ready to move on. Then he sees his fiance, the sister of the woman who disappeared holding something that she shouldn’t have. Something he hasn’t seen in a very long time. Is his first love back or is someone playing a sick game with him? Paris writes some of the best thrillers today, with shocks and surprises that keep coming. If you like a book that will keep you guessing, pick up a B.A. Paris novel, you won;t be disappointed
