Helen gave us the epic love story of Ryan and Ruby if you read this you honestly will be broken and emotional but then in the end you feel better because your heart will be put back together. The raw emotion is AMAZING!
I could not put this one down.

Not sure what I want to say. It was a great ending of a gripping series. There were plenty loops and turns with surprises around every corner, it seemed. I didn’t want the Steel saga to end but I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I didn’t write my review right away because I wanted to savor my experience. The outcome exceeded my expectations. I’m soooo glad that I found Helen Hardt and the Steels. Thank you from a grateful fan.

Wow! This is the final book in the Steel Brothers Saga and it took me down a dark and twisted road. Luckily, there was light at the end of the tunnel, but getting there was hard! Just a warning to potential readers of this series, it is DARK. It deals with terrible issues of abuse, rape, and kidnapping. And, while these issues aren't projected in the story (you aren't necessarily reading all this brutality, only hearing about it second hand in most cases), it is still hard to read about. So if you don't like books that deal with these sensitive issues, then this may not be the book for you.

For me, I read the series in its entirety. Some was hard to stomach, but the relationships that brewed after the fact were really nice to read about. I enjoyed getting to know all the Steel brothers (although admittedly, Talon is my favorite) and the women who saved them from themselves. Now, while I am sad to see them go, I am glad to see that each of these strong men got their HEA. It was a tough road getting there, but it was nice to see them all overcome their demons.

If you are new to the series, I will tell you that it is a DARK romantic suspense series. Again, when I say dark I don't mean that you will have to witness all the brutality that these men suffered in their past, but you WILL hear about it and get glimpses of what happened to them. I won't tell you WHAT in case you haven't read it, but it is certainly not topics for those who have weak stomachs.

One of the things that I wished there was more of in this series would be their sisters story. I don't know if Helen has any plans of writing her one, but it would be really nice to see how she overcomes everything that has happened in her lifetime.

Normally from her I would give readers a brief description of the story, but I honestly don't want to because I would have to start from the beginning of the series and there is too much to cover. All I can say is that you have to read these books in order to gain an understanding at everything.

OVERALL THOUGHTS OF THE BOOKS

This is a KILLER ending to a series and Helen Hardt did an amazing job at bringing their stories to a close. It may have taken a while to get here, but I think the ride was worth it in the grand scheme of things. Overall, I really enjoyed the series, even the dark aspects because it shows that people can overcome anything if they allow themselves to. So I would definitley recommend all the books to those who can handle the dark elements.

Great end to the series even though I would love for Ms. Hardt to write more about the Steel brothers and sister! The mystery that the Steel siblings and the women that they fall try to solve throughout this series was so interesting, fascinating, twisted, and mind blowing. Ms. Hardt sure knows how to make the unexpected happen with the mystery because whatever came next seems to be always unexpected. The unexpected kept us guessing what would come next and trying to figure out the answers along with the Steel brothers. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and this ending didn't disappoint!

Ryan and Ruby will lead you on an adventure that is mind provoking, hot, sexy, steamy and heart warming. The love that these characters share is stronger than any they have had in the past. It also allows Ryan and Ruby to grow as individuals, partners and lovers as they travel on the journey to find out about their mysterious parents and how their past is impacting them now. Unraveled is a must read romance book that will capture your heat.

Unraveled is amazing! If you haven’t read the ARC yet you will need to buy this book and read it. So many twist to this story. Just wish the series would still continue. Helen knows how to write a story and keep you wanting more at the very end, lol.

Book 9 in the Steel brothers saga series, this wasn't what I thought it would be. I was so lost. I hadn't realized that I should have read all the others in the series, I have only read the first book! I really enjoyed the writing but I felt that the overall explanation of the whys, was a little silly and weak. I think one day I might return to this series from where I left off.

First things first, for those who haven't read the previous books of the Steel Brothers series, you have to if you want to read this book. Preferably the entire series, but at least you have to read the books Shattered and Twisted to read this one (you can find the entire series in order at the bottom of this page).

And because this is (probably) the last book of the series, I thought I would do an overview of it all. The main story of the series is: one of the Steel brothers was abducted, tortured and raped so each set of three books shows you how each one of the brothers deals with that. Craving, Obsession, and Possession are about Talon (the one brother who was taken); Melt, Burn and Surrender are about Jonah (the oldest) and Shattered, Twisted and Unraveled are about Ryan (the youngest).

Ryan is currently in a relationship with Ruby, the daughter of one of Talon's abductors. They, as well as the entire Steel family, are trying to bring down the men responsible for Talon's abduction.

So, this book starts off right where Twisted ended: with Ruby pointing a gun at her father's head. And that's just the beginning of a rollercoaster that I never saw coming. And what will that lead us to? CLOSURE. In this book, we get all the explanations we were looking for and a ton more secrets that I sure wasn't expecting. Relentless action, heart-stopping twists and hard-core romance is what you will find you go on this ride!

This book is also more aggressive than the previous books. All I can say is that rape is something very real in this book. It is not something very specific but it might be more than you can probably take. Just be aware that this is not your bed-time story kind of book!

Regarding the sex scenes (and yes, I do have to talk about this in this series), the deal is: if you liked them in the previous books, you will like them in this book too; if you never saw the appeal in the previous boos, you won't find it here either. For those who haven't read the series, all the Steel brothers are darker than your usual playboy! Not fifty-shades kind of darker or something that involves BDSM elements, but they're not a walk in the park either. The sex scenes are pretty specific and they all involve some submission on Ruby's side.

Now, is this book the closure that we all have been looking for? Yes! Were all the secrets revealed? Yes! Is there going to be more books? I honestly don't know. Even though there's nothing more to tell about Talon's abduction, we can't forget that there's still a person single in the family: Marjorie, the baby girl of the family and sister of the men of the series. So, I would say that there's still hope, right?

I'm obviously sad that this story is over but I'm sooo happy with how things ended! I always say this but it's true: I can't recommend this series enough! This is such a peculiar story with such strong characters that you will just fall in love with them all! And the story will keep you completely smitten! I would even say that the only bad thing about this series is that it will keep you up at night because you won't be able to sleep with all the excitement!

I have loved the Steel Brothers’ Saga from day one and each book was better than the last. With that said, I think that Unraveled was my favorite out of all of them. I fell in love with Ryan Steel early in the series and was excited to finally get to his and Ruby’s story. The chemistry between the two of them was off the charts. Unraveled answered all our questions, coming full circle with the mysteries, tragedies and happy endings surrounding the Steel Brothers. It was fast-paced and very hot! Ruby and Ryan burn up the sheets and the pages in this final installment. Although some of what happened to this family was hard to read, my heart always went out to them and I cheered when they got their happy endings. Helen Hardt is a master at weaving a great story and this series has been one of the best I have ever written. I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.

I loved this book. I went into it super sad because it is the last book. It truly didn’t disappoint. I loved it. The heartbreak and drama was all worth it. I am so glad to have found this series. Thank you Helen. It’s been a great ride. I’ll have to start over again.

Helen Hardt aka Cliffhanger Queen to me has giving us a epically amazing end to this series...... I said to see it end but Helen ended it beautifully for these brothers. In book 8, Twisted Ruby had a choice to make and we all couldn't wait to see what happened. In true Helen fashion she gave us alot of twist, turns, and omg moments in this book. Giving us all a gleam into the world of human trafficking and the trauma it inflicts not on the victims but the ones who can't stop it and family. Throughout this book I was crying and hugging my pillow for all the heartbreak, big reveals, heat, and love throughout this book. I started Helen the end of last year and every book gets better and better. If you haven't dived into this series I recommend you do. You'll fall and want more of Helen Hardts books and words.

Talon and Jade, Jonah and Melanie and Ryan and Ruby, all found their happy ever after in this rollercoaster ride of a series. I hate that this ride is over, but I'm looking forward to what Helen has in store for us next.

Had the privilege of reading and ARC of Unraveled. Sad day, I am not ready for this series to be over. Yet I am happy I know more of what happened. Helen never fails to keep you on the edge of your seat and your heart pumping. Ryan and Ruby deserve happiness and find it in each other. They help the family find the truths and work on healing together.

I couldn't put this book down. I love how Helen has brought the Steel family alive and brought them into my life. Talon, Jonah and Ryan will always hold a place in my heart!

The final Steele Brothers book was so bittersweet for me! I love the series and this is a great final installment! There are lots of twists and turns from start to finish! It is also nice and steamy as to be expected. This was such a great book, I couldn’t put it down!

I absolutely loved this book! I absolutely loved, loved the Steel Brothers series! I started with Craving and binged read until I had to wait for Twisted to be released! My heart broke for Talon and the secrets he had to carry with him, but loved that he found Jade and realized life was worth living. I completely fell in love with Jonah and him being a dominant! His relationship with Melanie and how it progressed surprised me! I didn't think Melanie had it in her! Ryan's story was insane but his and Ruby's romance was dominant but very tender was needed. I love Helen Hardt's books and writing and can't wait to start another series....maybe Tempting Dusty. Her books are captivating and always left me on the edge of my seat and wanting more...more...more!

I can honestly say I hate that this saga has come to an end BUT it couldn't of ended any better. Once again Helen has not disappointed with all the twists and turns but finally coming full circle.

Helen Hardt has taken us on quite the journey through the past eight Steel brother books and this ninth and final book has the answers we have all been waiting for. She did not disappoint with how she tied the entire series together. Ryan and Ruby have been my favorite couple through the series even though I of course loved the other characters as well. How could one not? I was actually at a lost for words when I hit the last page of this book, my eyes filled with tears because I was going through so many different emotions. I was so sad it was over, but I was so happy with the way Helen had these characters stories end. I received the answers that I had been trying to figure out through this whole series and none of it was what I predicted it would be and that was a good thing! I absolutely will not leave any spoilers but if you have not read the first eight then you really do need to do so.

Talon and Jade, Jonah and Melanie and Ryan and Ruby have these amazing romances. This last book follows the end of Ryan and Ruby's story but wraps up the story for the other couples as well. The love Ryan and Ruby have for one another is so unique and so strong. I think what made their story so different from the other couples is what they were each going through with their parents. Once again I won't write any spoilers but we ultimately find out that even though there was some ultimate evil forces throughout this book that these individuals ultimately sacrificed themselves to at least try to do right in the end.

This was my first Helen Hardt series and I am so happy that I picked up that first book. Her books in this series were so well written and Helen has become one of my favorite authors. I can't wait to not only read series that she has already released but I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

A five star and must read if there ever was one!

The mystery is finally solved, and we get a happy ending. There is a lot of suspense leading up to the end, and this book seemed more romantic. This was great end to the series. I'll be waiting to see what comes next.
