Nick is determined to help save a little boy's life, but he never imagined his being able to was because he's related to the family as the son of a secret affair. So, when he arrives in New York, it's hard at first to handle the fact that the powerful Harrison family is his own, especially with the suspicious nature of the clan. But as Nick gets to know everyone including his nephew's nurse Amanda Kozlov, Nick starts to wonder whether he can have it all -- love, family and happiness. Will Nick be able to convince Amanda to take a chance on him, or will Amanda's past demons hold her back from achieving their happy ever after?

I have loved this series from the very first book, as each Harrison sibling achieved their happy ever after, and I've got to say that this book does not disappoint. Really, the hero is an absolute delight and goes through so much in this story ranging from the betrayal of someone very important to him to finding love to finding a way to get along with his new family. Will he be able to have a good relationship with his half-siblings? Will he be able to forgive the person that betrayed him? Will he be able to convince Amanda that love is worth fighting for?

The way this story started had me liking the hero immediately and had me sympathizing with him too, as what he learns isn't easy for him to handle. How could something so important be kept from him for so long? Moreover, the dialogue was highly entertaining and definitely full of emotion, as the hero doesn't have the easiest of times when it comes to meeting his new family, but I liked how he handled himself. He wasn't afraid to go head-to-head with his siblings when it came to defending himself because there's nothing more important to him than loyalty and honor. I also liked how kind and caring the hero was when it came to do anything for Myles, the young boy he was hopefully going to help cure of the illness he has. Will everything work out for the best?

While the heroine, it's understandable why she's so adamant about not wanting a relationship, because she lost someone in the past that's made her hesitant to give someone that puts themselves at risk a chance. Will Nick be able to win Amanda over? Furthermore, I liked that she was willing to be there for Nick when he needed someone, because accepting he has another family and finding his way to be a part of it isn't all hearts and roses. Yet, what I liked most of all about the heroine was how good she was at her job and how she handles everything she goes through with Myles and his illness. Certainly, being a nurse to a young boy with cancer wouldn't be easy, but Amanda is definitely a fighter and able to cope when the going gets tough.

Overall, Ms. Gracen has delivered another fantastic read for this series where the chemistry and romance between this couple was delightful and the ending had me cheering fort this couple's happy ever after, as Amanda was willing to fight for their chance at forever after. However, it was the epilogue that wrapped this story and this series up perfectly, as it gives readers the chance to learn how Nick is getting along with his half-siblings in the Harrisons and how both his families get along together. Then again, how could anyone not possibly like the Harrison siblings in Dane, Charles, Tess and Pierce? I would recommend It Might Be You by Jennifer Gracen, if you enjoy the mysterious strangers trope or books by authors Miranda Liasson, Amy Andrews, Sierra Donovan and Stefanie London.

What a feel good story!

Nick has always known that the man who helped raise him isn't his biological father, but that's never mattered to him. He's the best dad a guy could ask for. Fast forward 24 years and nick has been tapped as a match for a child who desperately needs a bone marrow transplant. As it turns out, his mother does know his bio father's name because when she hears it, she passes out. His journey to help save a child nets him a new wonderful family and a woman he can't help but love.

It's a real feel good story that will have you smiling and tingly. I highly recommend it!

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGallery, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Rating 4.5/5*

What an emotional roller coaster story this proved to be! Yes, it is a contemporary romance but there are so many other threads interwoven to make it a colourful tapestry of relationships, events and scenarios portrayed in a manner to tug at the reader's heartstrings.

When his Miami police precinct had a bone marrow donor drive Nick volunteered never imagining he might be a match but he is and the family of the ill child wish to meet and support him. Nick Martell is proud to share his latest news with his parents, never dreaming that this will lead to life changing revelations about his biological father. Connecting with the half-siblings he'd never known about and their families is dramatic in its own right, but add in his sick nephew, Myles, and it all gets even more moving! The attraction between Nick and Amanda, the nurse caring for Myles, is instantaneous and mutual but both are wary of developing a long distance relationship and there's enough family drama already in that household! Can love find a way to connect Nick and his newly discovered family? Can Nick and Amanda find a way to their HEA together or will there be too many obstacles in their path towards true love?

This is a very moving story that I didn't want to put down. I felt invested in hoping all would go well for Myles as well as for the romance. The family dynamics were volatile - and so was the romance! Never assume anything with this pair! Just when all seems to be going well there's another catastrophic clash to drive them even further apart than their homes already are. This is an enthralling, emotive story with so many twists and turns it keeps you uncertain of the outcome and reluctant to put the book down till you've read it all - and that epilogue is well worth waiting for! Although this is the fifth and final story in this series, I hadn't read any of the earlier stories about the Harrison family but still thoroughly enjoyed this one so believe it works well as a standalone and the extra novella "Happily Ever After" was an unexpected bonus. I have no hesitation in highly recommending both to anyone who enjoys emotive contemporary romances with additional family dramas.

I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.

I love this messed up family, The Harrisons. Now to find that there was a secret baby twenty none years ago, it fit just perfect. Miami police officer, Nick just wants to do good and registers for a National Bone Marrow donation, only to find out he is the perfect match for Miles. Miles is a young Harrison. Now for Nick to learn the truth from his mom and for the rest of the Harrisons to find out. Blue collar worker meet the rich! Loved how Nick did not back down from the Harrison family, loved the special bond between Miles and Nick. Nick meets Amanda, private duty nurse for Miles. Neither looking for anything lasting, but such great chemistry that they can't fight off.

I loved everything about this book, The Harrisons, secret baby, Miles and the romance between Nick and Amanda. The epilogue was perfect. So sad to say goodbye. I highly recommend this book alng with the rest of the books in this series.

The fifth and final book in The Harrison’s series introduces us to Nick Martell, Miami cop and the baby brother no one knew existed.

“...they’re going to take one look at you and know who you are.”

The circumstances surrounding Nick’s welcoming into the Harrison fold aren’t exactly the happiest—he’s a bone marrow match for Charles’ son, Myles—but as
Nick gets to know his siblings and his nephew, he also gets to know Myles’ nurse, Amanda.

“It may have started in chaos, but they’d found each other in the storm.

I loved these characters, both have caring natures and are a little guarded, and both suffer foot-in-mouth disorder which creates some spark. And once they cross the line there’s no stopping them, as with Nick’s return home on the horizon there’s not a single moment of bedroom time to be wasted.

“There’s nothing more I’d like to do than take you back to my room and lose myself in you tonight.”

Jennifer Gracen has done a fantastic job in balancing the harsher reality of Myles’ illness with hope, and whilst the romance is undoubtedly at the forefront, the initial slower build as Nick and Amanda get to know one another is fitting of the situation. I’ve said it before, coming to the end of a series is always bittersweet, but it was a delight to spend time with the Harrison siblings again, I enjoyed how this book picked up a couple of years after the last and with new little additions to the family, and they received the send off they deserved. I for one am glad I hopped on for the ride.

It was a sweet love story. Adding the Myles to story made a whole lot of difference. I enjoyed it. Favorite character Myles, I loved that kid. It has few hot and steamy scenes. The love story was same as normal love stories

This book has both cursing (including f-bombs) and on-page sex. If that will make you leave a bad review, you should skip this one. While this book is part of a larger series, you do not have to have read those to enjoy this one.

Wow. Jennifer Gracen nailed it with this book. I was absolutely sucked into the story from the first chapter to the last, and just when I thought Nick, Amanda, and Myles' story couldn't get any better, Ms. Gracen tacked on an epilogue that brought happy tears to my eyes.

While both Nick and Amanda were flawed characters, they were also incredibly likable both as a couple and as individuals, and they were very realistic. Nick was sexy and in his hot Hispanic cop way, but he was also swoon-worthy because he was willing to risk his own health and comfort to save the life of a total stranger, even before he found out who the boy was to him. THAT alone is swoon-worthy book-hero material if you ask me. The fact that he also dropped sexy Spanish into his pillow talk was just a gigantic bonus. Amanda was a nurse who was strong and excellent while doing her difficult and emotional job, but her personal life was a bit of a mess. I actually identified with Amanda far more than I thought I would, so her moments of fear and insecurity made sense to me. While they made me want to shake her and tell her not to screw up a good thing, I also totally understood how she was feeling and the way that fear can make a person lash out irrationally. I was so proud of her at the end – without spoiling anything – and that ending was exactly what I was hoping would happen. I wanted to high five Amanda.

While this book is definitely a love story between two really likable characters and their love story is the main part of the book, the family aspect was also tremendous and important and so well-written. I found myself just wanting to hug all of the characters involved from start to finish. The Harrison siblings were fantastic, Nick's parents and siblings were amazing, Amanda's friends were fun, and Myles...I absolutely adored Myles, oh my gosh. All of the relationships were imperfect and difficult, but they were realistic and heart-felt and I loved how all of them progressed organically and naturally. But Nick and Myles...that was where my heart was. I loved the relationship between those two so much and the epilogue...it was perfection.

I would recommend this to anyone who likes a story that is a beautiful mix of sweet and sexy and heart-wrenching and emotional. Ms. Gracen balances all of those things wonderfully in this one.

I requested and was so very generously granted an advanced copy of this book via NetGalley and the publisher. I was under no obligation to write this review, I did so because this book was fabulous.

This was a fun feel good novel. The book starts with Nick Martell, a cop who finds out he is a bone marrow match for a child who desperately needs a transplant. Nick was in the system since the police station had a drive a few years back. In relaying the news to his parents while visiting them and telling them he'll be in New York for a while during and after the procedure, Nick and his mother got the shock of their lives. After literally fainting, she tells Nick, that she knows the family, worked for the family, and that Nick is part of that family unbeknownst to anyone. And the novel goes from there. There is also a sweet romance that develops as Nick is introduced to the child's home nurse.
I found this to be so gut-wrenching at times but also very heartwarming. This is very much about family, finding yourself and also falling in love.
This isn't a straight forward romance. It has two plots, both of which kept my eyes glued to the pages. I highly recommend this book.

Nick Martel, a twenty-nine-year-old cop just got a promotion. A new family. And the possibility of being the bone marrow donor for Myles, his new nephew. But, despite everything being literally thrown at him just like that, he’s still flying to Florida to help his nephew.

Amanda Kozlov is a private nurse who has been taking care of Myles. And that’s pretty much all she has been doing with her life: working. Until Nick comes into her life and messes with her work. And her heart.

“The only thing I need is more time with you.”
What I loved about the book? The storyline. It’s not every day that you find a story like this one with real-life stories and real-life struggles like finding a match for a bone marrow transplant.

Obviously, the main story is about Nick’s and Amanda’s love story but since it was Myles’ disease that brought them together, you can already tell that Myles plays a major role in this book. And thank god for that because that kid was the best thing about this book! The main story, which is the love story as I said, had a lot of potential given the fact that they had to deal with a distance relationship but it was actually meh!

“Okay, ladies, she wrote. Sit back, buckle up, and grab your popcorn. I need to tell you about the unbearable temptation that is Nick Martell.”
And what did I not love about this book? The writing style. Sometimes the descriptions would go on and on and on, and pretty much everytime they were completely unnecessary. Just be ready for a lot of prose! Then the characters were also not the best, I’m not gonna lie! Amanda is way too dramatic for my style. She makes a big fuss out of everything and although I understand that they would have to fight about something at some point, a good reason would have been appreciated. Nick was not so bad. There’s nothing bad to say about him but there’s nothing remarkable either.

I haven’t read the rest of the series since this is a standalone. This was my first book of the series and my first book by Jennifer Gracen as well, so that might have influenced my opinion on this book. However, I would recommend this book if you’re into family drama and if a lot of descriptions is your thing!

Ms. Gracen is an author I haven't read before, but I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well developed. Even though I hadn't read the other books in this series it was easy to follow along and gain insight into the other characters. Nick was adorable! I had issues with Amanda at times. Sometimes I really liked her and other times I hated the character. Myles was the star of this book! I will definitely be looking for more books by Ms. Gracen in the future!

I voluntarily read this book as an advance copy! The comments regarding the book are all my own thoughts and feelings.

Nick and Amanda shared a great story of love, hope, and acceptance. I wanted to slap both at various times, but that just means I was invested in them! LOVED seeing the other family members too!

The Harrison's are one crazy messed up clan and what a great way this author came up with to introduce a new Harrison to the crazy. All the characters in this series are amazing and Nick and Amanda fit right in.

Miami police officer Nick Martel is a kind soul who finds out his bone marrow is a match for a young boy in New York who is desperately in need of a transplant. Never hesitating Nick agrees to help the and his family. Never could he have imagined how this decision will change his life. Not only does he meet Amanda. She's the home nurse caring for Miles, the young boy Nick is there to help. He also discovers the truth about his biological father and the Harrison clan.

This is a fascinating story and I don't think you should miss it. Put it on the must read, I highly recommend it.

Just when you think all of the Harrison children got their happily ever afters, we learn of one more.

I felt so bad for Nick. I could never have handled what he went through with his mom. However, good things happened from it too. Nick finds a whole new family, Myles’s life is saved, and he finds the other half of his soul in Amanda. Love finds you when you aren’t looking for it.

I loved when the Harrison children stood up to Daddy Dearest and stood up for Nick.

The hero in this book is just too wonderful. Nick Martell is a dedicated and honorable policeman who has just gotten word that his bone marrow is a match for a sick young boy with cancer. He willingly agrees to go through the procedure. Then he receives the shocking news from his mother that this family is actually his family and that he is the secret child of a billionaire, but his Puerto Rican mother hid from the family.

Nick Martell is probably the only man who could find that he’s the son of a billionaire and not care at all about the money. What he is interested in his the young patient’s private nurse, Amanda Kozlov. Their relationship grows, but he lives in Miami and she lives on Long Island.

I’ve only read one of the books in this series and I enjoyed that one. I found that the growing relationship between Nick and his half-brothers and half-sister the best part of the book. I’d be getting into that and then the scene would shift and it would become clear that the author had skipped over a key scene and just told us that it happened. That happened a couple of times when I was disappointed not to read that scene such as Nick going out drinking with his half-brother and getting to become friends with him.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book by this author. My first book in this series, which left me a little out of the loop. It was a sweet contemporary romance.

Jennifer Gracen has a special way with stories, characters and ideas. She writes with a flair that captures your heart and mind as you embrace the people and the story and pray for the outcomes.
In It Might Be You, you meet Nick Martell, a Miami cop facing a life altering change: the boy that he is a bone donor match is actually his nephew from a family Nick never knew existed in his life. All sorts of complications, heated emotions and ramifications arise from his new found family.
You also meet Amanda Koslov, nurse to the afflicted boy, Myles. When Nick meets her they both are astounded by the instantaneous chemistry and sparks.
This is a story of their stormy, heated relationship playing against the backdrop of families in crisis.

I have enjoyed this entire series and this was a great twist to the Harrison family.

Nick Martell discovers he is a perfect match for an ailing young boy with neds a bone marrow transplant. We soon learn the reason to the perfect match is that the boy is actually his nephew- Nick is a member of the Harrison clan a prestigous and rich New York family. Traveling to meet the child and his family, Nick doesn't waste time in letting the cat out of the bag about his new identity. While he has been struggling with the fact that his mother has essentially lied to him his entire life, Nick soon discovers a new struggle in dealing with the Harrisons and the insinuation that his arrival might be for ulterior motives financially. Juggling a new family amidst the doubt of his intentions as well we preparing for a major surgery is a full plate for Nick- throw in the sexy nurse and Nick finds himself overwhelmed with the state of his new life.

Amanda Kozlov is the sweet, and sexy nurse taking care of the young Harrison and finds the heroic donor- Nick- sexy and completely off limits. Not only because he is a relative to her employer but due to his job as a cop- putting his life on the line daily and something Amanda has completely sworn off.

The Harrisons getting to know one another is a good mix of the good and bad of families. The joining together as a united front against the patriarch is necessary and makes Nick feel included. I enjoyed this side of the story in the adapting to a new family, love and forgiveness and in the end a view into understanding someone's actions you might not have understood otherwise.

I enjoyed Nick and Amanda's slow, sweet and unstoppable romance. These two tried to stop the feelings but when it's meant to be- well it is! I really enjoyed the Epilogue and I hate to say goodbye to the Harrison gang.

I totally got misty eyed with this one. I mean how can you not. I'm a sucker for books with kids in it to begin with but adding one with cancer just pulls at your heartstrings. It Might Be You is so good. I love the twist of surprise sibling saving the day. Nick is an amazing man. I love his strength and how he handles his new family. Amanda is so caring and yet guarded. I love her relationship with Myles and the rest of the Harrison family as his private nurse. You can just feel how Nick and Amanda are drawn toward each other. The fight is real and yet understandable and beautiful all at the time. It Might Be You is a sweet romance that is all about family and doing what ever it takes while never giving up on love.

There were a lot of drawn out parts in this book. Also I didn't care for Amanda's character. In her own words, she's boring. Nick is the only thing that saved it for me.
