I liked the family part about this book. I really did feel the same way Nick felt which was confused and angry and basically his feelings were everywhere. Amanda and him made a cute pair. I loved that he was hispanic too.

Nick has a good woman in Amanda the girl loves to stroke his ego along with other things, “you’re not sorry,” she accused, grinning back. “And I’m sure not sorry. I get this hot bod in my bed . You look like a Greek god, and you damn well know it.” Nick isn't bashful to let his woman know when he likes something, “I love when you touch me,” he said. “Keep doing it. Whatever you want.” I liked this book, loved Nick.

Starting out with a very sick child and a shocking revelation this wonderful story moves on to a beautiful love affair.
I enjoyed seeing the rest of the family and how they've grown both their own families and the love they have for each other. Family ties play an important role and it is so well written. Very touching.
