Callie is a senators daughter who is running for president and says his family is receiving death threats. Callie has been under her father’s thumb for years and just wants freedom. She’s beautiful, strong, and loves music. Jack is a former Marine and after being wounded by a grenade, they tell him he’s no longer fit for duty. He has been hunting for a job when a woman gives him a card for the 11th Hour company.
Jack goes and his trial assignment is protecting Callie. He’s attracted to her but he’s a rough man who’s past was not a good one. More is going on than they first believed. Jack has he’s suspicions about the Senator, so Jack takes Callie away. But once they are away from Boston, the clothes start flying. When the Senator finds Callie, can Jack get to her in time to save her from her father?
First book in a new series ( I hope ). A scarred hero and a beautiful socialite. Two people who’s past might be the thing that keeps them apart. The sex is smoking hot. The story will keep you coming back for more.

Raw Power is the beginning of what will be an awesome series. I loved how sarcastic and feisty the heroine was and that the hero was grumpy, scarred and yummy. Callie and Jack were scorching hot together which I loved. I also loved their brand of kink and cannot wait to read more of this series. I enjoyed the glimpses we got of the other members of team and I'm hoping a certain characters shrouded in mystery will get his story told.

Jack King has been hired by an elite unit of ex-military men and his first job almost had him running in the opposite direction. When we meet Jack’s babysitting job, Callie Hawthorne we think of her as a spoiled rich girl but by the end of the book, she shows she does have a backbone and will stop at nothing to get what she wants – and that is Jack.
This is the first book I have read of Jackie Ashenden and was happy to find her at the beginning of a new series – 11th Hour. I enjoyed the book and couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. It had suspense and romance, all wrapped into one well written book. The characters did seem a little lost in who they were for a bit, however, by the end of the story, Ms. Ashenden had their personalities down. I have to give this one four stars because of the lack of character development at the beginning of the book. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series and have plans to read her other series.

Loved, loved, LOVED this book! This is the start to a new series that promises to be fantastic - what could be hotter than a group of former military that steps in to help when all legal avenues have been exhausted or do not exist.... Jack is one such soldier - as a Marine Force Recon vet, he left the Marines after surviving a grenade blast and is angry about no longer serving and with slightly tarnished honor.

Jack's first assignment is to protect Callie, the pampered daughter of a politician. He finds it a bit insulting and well beneath his skill set, but must complete the assignment to secure a regular position with the 11th Hour. Callie, however, is not quite the pampered princess he expected, and he quickly learns that a golden cage is still a cage and the very real danger to her exists within that cage. He puts everything on the line to protect her and ends up finding himself along the way.

This is a sexy and hot novel that fans of the genre will love - this is a must read. No one can create a tarnished hero like this author - she made me fall in love with these characters and care about their story. I was so engrossed in this novel that I was sorry when it ended. The author is on my must read authors' list and should probably be on yours as well.

Callie knows what she wants, what she needs. Jack is going to make sure she is able to have the life that she chooses. Even if it means that his job will forfeited. I really enjoyed Raw Power, and can't wait to read more of the 11th Hour series.
