I find that I really enjoy contemporary romances in which the jobs of the characters are more than something just thrown in to check off a box, but actually are an integral part of the novel. Too often, we’re told that a character has a job and maybe he or she goes to a meeting or two, but otherwise the author spends no time creating a realistic work environment for the main characters.

In this novel TJ Garner is the CEO of an outdoor extreme sports adventure business. TJ has just added a retail clothing line to the company and needs someone to run that part of the business. He has loved Deb Bennett since high school, but she has had an on-off relationship with his younger brother, Win, for 15 years. And the four Garner brothers might be competitive with each other, but they don’t try to steal the other one’s girl. But Deb has always had a thing for TJ, but thought that she was out of his league. She’s had to give up all her dreams and work in a diner in order to earn enough money to help her parents out. Then TJ offers her the job of heading up the retail division of their new clothing line. Sure, she has absolutely no experience, but TJ has faith in her and she has some good friends who give her advice so why not take a job that will help her get out of debt and out of the waitress uniform?

It’s unbelievable that anyone would hire her with her lack of experience, but just roll with that. The business has troubles that TJ has to shoulder and try to address while resisting his love for his younger brother’s ex-girlfriend. And the younger brother is having some romantic problems of his own.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable read and I look forward to Win’s story.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I have read by this talented author, and it definitely won’t be the last one.
Yes, it’s a story about TJ Garner, son, and CEO of a sporting empire, and Deb Bennett, the on again, off again girlfriend of his younger brother, but it’s more than that.
Intertwined in the well developed and engaging plot and story of this couple , we get a story about family, honor , dedication doing the right thing, opportunities, responsibilities and of course love.
The author’s description not only of the town and the slopes but also of the all the characters and their interaction, draws you into the storyline and you feel that you are actually there with them.
My only regret is that I missed book one since even though it’s a stand alone, we get to know there must have been a good story to tell about Colt and Delaney.
Definitely an author to add to my list of favorites.
I was gifted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I’ll admit that as good as the description of Want You sounded, I had my reservations about the whole brothers sharing a girl thing. But pretty early on you, as the reader, get the right end of the stick while TJ and the whole damn town have it all twisted up in their heads.
Deb has been in an on-again off-again relationship with the Garner baby of the family, Win. But it was never some grand love story, it was two friends, two people who shared a lack of ambition…seemingly. But her heart really belonged to the responsible older brother, TJ. It is this tie, this bond, that is the jumping off p oint for Want You.
I really liked this story. A lot! Deb and TJ were great and frustrating. They were strong and awkward, a little ridiculous at times and did I mention frustrating? But despite that, they were a fun time. The story didn’t need to be as long as it was, but for the most part it was nonstop enjoyment.
I loved the small town vibe and the real world problems that existed. This isn’t your fairytale billionaire romance, nope, this is two people with real world problems who manage to find something great while dealing with them. All of them. Stacy Finz could have turned this story into an angst-fest and I am truly grateful that she didn’t.
The tone of the story was perfect for what it was, and the addition of Win’s drama just gave the story more depth. And extra points to Finz for not going the obvious route after Win’s drama played out. I’ve read a few stories by this author and she does small towns and everyday life…beautifully.
I can’t wait to read Win’s story next!

'Want You' is another great addition to The Garner Brothers series by Stacy Finz. The characters are extremely likeable and well written. The unfolding of Deb and TJ's romance is touching and Win's side story was intense. I do always skip over the graphic sex, which for me detracts from the heartwarming love story. When I skip, it's about as good of a romance as there can be.

TJ Garner has always been smitten by Deb and vice versa and BOTH kept it to themselves. Deb always thought TJ was out of reach so she settled for his immature younger brother Win and they have been off/on for several years.

When Deb is down on her luck because she supports her parents and she is in debt, TJ offers her a job and we go from there. Deb finally gets a chance to change her life and with the brother she always wanted.

I really like the small town atmosphere and the banter between the Garner brothers. There were some slow bits but overall a very good story. It can be tricky, a love story when there are brothers involved. But the author did a good job. If you like small town-stories about hot brothers: this is it!

I am a big fan of Stacy Finz and this story did not disappoint. I started it and did not put it down until 3 in the morning when I finished it. Stacy's characters are wonderful to me because they seem real with emotions we all deal with and not all is glitz and glamour. I do not do a synopsis of the book or tell what the story is about as I do not like those types of reviews. I do not need someone to re-tell the story to me. That is like the person that tells you what happens in a movie and what is the point of that except to spoil it for the other person. I will say this is a great addition to this series and I am eagerly looking forward to Stacy's book. Do yourself a favor and get this book!
