After eight struggling years, Sierra is on the cusp of making it big in the movie industry. Her first big offer will shoot her straight into stardom, but it isn't the acting role she was expecting.

A-list movie star, Jackson needs to do damage control ASAP. Paparazzi has a blurry photo of him kissing the man he has been seeing in secret. He fears the loss of his career if the world finds out he is gay and he's not ready to give up acting.

Jackson and his agent makes an offer to Sierra she can't refuse. If she will pose as his girlfriend for the next eight months, not only will it help quell the gossip around his photo, but also make her a household name.

Sierra hates that Jackson feels the need to hide his true self. Not only will his offer help her financially and jump start her career, she also genuinely wants to help Jackson. What she wasn't expecting was to lose her heart to Austin, the head of security.

I'm a big fan of Christina Ross. Her heroines are always woman I can respect and admire. Her Hero's never fail to be true gentlemen and treat the women in their life with respect. Add in some crazy chemistry and I always look forward to the next book by this author. I loved it and can't wait for the next book in the series!

First story I've read by Ms. Ross and I am hooked. The writing style and storyline is exceptional. Lots of sexual tension. Sienna is to help save Jackson Cruise's career and then she meets Austin. Sparks fly and a great story is born.

I received an arc from Netgalley. This was an interesting read. At times Jackson seemed like a spoiled actor but he grew on me after awhile. Austin and Sienna had a great connection and I was rooting for them right from the beginning. Having to deny their feelings for so long was devastating but the HEA ending made up for it.

I loved how the story started and how it flowed the whole way through the book. Loved the characters and how they interact with each other and how they ended up together and how they got there HEA. The author has done such a great job with this book and totally deserves the 5 stars I have given this book. So looking forward to reading more by this author in the future. I would recommend this book to everyone

Sienna has gone many years struggling to make it in the acting industry when her recent movie was a hit at cannes and sparks the attention for her a job that will change her life in my ways.
Jackson cruise is an action movie star, adored by millions of ladies worldwide but he has a secret that he struggles with on the daily, he's gay. With Jackson being caught kissing a man to keep his career he believes he needs to stay in the closet and in doing so he needs a distraction, enter said distraction.
Sienna is paid to enter a fake relationship with Jackson in order to keep his secret but when his handsome bodyguard Austin catches her eye things begin to become difficult for Sienna.

Their are many things I enjoyed and loved about this book, the diversity and the important topics was one of them. In today's society I feel its important to discuss topics that may not have gotten as much light before. It dives into sexual assault also so I'd say if that's triggering I'd suggest you read with caution although I believe it's handled and written correctly. I enjoyed seeing an insight into the movie industry and paparazzi, I found it interesting. I loved harper and Julia and also mini they were funny enjoyable characters with great one liners that had me laughing. As for the only part that annoyed me, at the beginning it was annoying how Austin continued to push Sienna even though he knew she had so much at stake, yes he wasn't aware of the full extent but I still felt it was rather annoying.

Over all I highly enjoyed this book. The writing style was fast pasted and I read this book in two days, it's safe to say I will be reading more by this author in the future.

Jackson Cruise is super hot, super successful, and his movies have made billions at the box office. But when the paparazzi photograph him kissing another man, Jackson’s true sexuality quickly comes into question in ways that might destroy his career.

Start the damage control now.

Enter emerging actress Sienna Jones, who is offered millions to become Jackson’s new girlfriend. Sienna decides to take the job and fake it, and before long, her star starts to rise as her and Jackson’s fake relationship begins to trend on Twitter.

All while the actor’s hunky security guard, Austin Black, looks on at Sienna in lust.

As Sienna and Austin become friends—and then a whole lot more after one steamy night of passion—the question is simple: How long can Sienna continue to fake it when she realizes that she’s falling in love.

Sienna Jones is about to make it big. She just won a coveted award at the Cannes Film Festival but before anything else can happen she has a meeting with her agent who has another part for her to play. Jackson Cruise is gay and in the closet. He’s an action star and doesn’t want his sexuality known but was just captured on film kissing another man. In order to turn the tide of the public Jackson and his agent are proposing that Sienna pose as his girlfriend for 8 months and then break it off. They feel that’s good amount of time and Sienna will be paid 10 million dollars. Sienna feels for Jackson and agrees.

Almost the minute that Sienna signs on the dotted line she meets Austin Black, Jackson’s head of security. The man is amazing and Sienna can’t manage to keep her eyes off of him. The sexual tension continues to build on both Sienna’s and Austin’s part but they can’t be together. If they are seen together or even there’s even a hint of them together then Sienna loses the money. After being poor her whole life she’s not about to let that happen. Sienna’s determined to make Austin see that they can’t be together for another few months but instead she ends up in bed with him.

Will they be able to wait 7 more months to be together? Austin says he’ll wait but anything could happen.

Faking It has an interesting premise that immediately caught my eye. I was excited to read about these two and how they would handle everything. The book was well written and I liked a lot of the book but Austin and Sienna spent so much time apart in the book it was hard to feel they were falling in love – it felt more like lust to me.

Sienna was a great character. I liked her a lot and I loved that she wasn’t letting her insta-fame go to her head. She was a smart girl and her word was her bond. Except she did accept Austin’s dinner invitation which of course was a huge mistake (as I knew it would be).
The thing I really didn’t understand is that supposedly the only people who knew about the fake relationship is just few people but as the book went on there were so many people that would have had to have known what was going on in order to do their work that I was a bit baffled by it all. For a “secret” relationship it really wasn’t that much of a secret. SO many people could have easily ratted on them – it was a little disconcerting.

Jackson was a good guy and I liked him (except for their first date when he was a mess). Austin was a good man too but honestly I hardly got to know him so it was hard for me to want him and Sienna to get together.

Despite my issues I thought it was cute story and will definitely read the next book in the series.

What would you do if while involved in a fake relationship, you fell in love with someone else. That is what happens to Sienna Jones when she agrees to be Hollywood action superstar, Jackson Cruise’s pretend girlfriend. Jackson is dealing with negative publicity speculating about whether he is gay. Sienna finds herself falling for Jackson’s hot, alpha bodyguard, Austin. From the moment Austin and Sienna meet, sparks fly but, unfortunately, they have to keep their feelings under wraps.
This story is both touching and emotional as we take a journey with Jackson, Sienna and Austin. This is not a love triangle because Jackson is gay. He is struggling with falling in love with another man, coming out of the closet and worrying about his movie career. I liked all the characters and felt each of their struggles. I also enjoyed the Hollywood aspect of the story. Seeing the way everything is manufactured in Hollywood and nothing is what it seems. PR people make up what they think the public wants. Once a person becomes famous, their life is never the same. Their life is guided by the press, paparazzi, movie studios and PR people.
Austin is an alpha hero who longs for Sierra. He is a body guard and considered the best in Hollywood. Sierra is a rising star in Hollywood where any attention is good for her career. Sierra is a down to earth, nice girl from Iowa trying to make a name for herself in Hollywood. I enjoyed this fun, slow burn story filled with lust and longing.

Faking It is the first book I've read by Christina Ross. It's the first in a series and it's the story of Sienna Jones, Jackson Cruise and Austin Black. The description of this story appealed to me, but the writing failed to live up to my expectations. I had a hard time with it, mostly because I couldn't relate to the characters. I knew it would be outside the realm of what normal life is for me..... I don't get to live out a romance with my celebrity crush or wear $12,000 gowns! However, even putting myself in fantasy life land, I had a difficult time liking the characters.
I forced myself to finish the book, but honestly the epilogue was the only part that gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling about this romance.

This is my first experience reading this author's work and I was pleasantly surprised. This was a nice standalone sweet and steamy romance. Although I'm not a fan of "celebrity" romances and references to well-known celebrities, this one was well done and I would recommend it if you like that type of book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Sienna is hired to be the girlfriend of a mega movie star, Jackson, because he wants to hide the fact that he's gay from the public. She's on the brink of fame but when they start going out everyone is after her especially the paparazzi. Enjoyable romance about loving who you're meant to love.
