The first part of this book is the story of Carolyn, a newly appointed CEO. Her task is to turn the company around. She does make some mistakes, learns from them, and finds a way to make the company profitable again. Even though the conclusion is not a surprise I did find myself turning the pages quickly to see what would happen next. The second part of the book is how to apply the lessons Carolyn has learned to your own business. Even though this book is aimed at businesses it can also apply to your personal life as well. The book is very easy to read and the advice is clear and easy to follow.
