This was a very enjoyable read. Bella is such a ball of energy and the way she shakes up Jake's world was wonderful. Being forced to take a temporary break from her reality cooking show might have been what brought her to Cherry Lake but Jake Woods is what's making her want to stay!

I highly recommend it.

A beautiful novel celebrating the joys of love in a heartfelt read. A great novel to celebrate the Valentines day holiday. Bella is a celebrity chef who is forced into a six month vacation rest so she does not burn out from all that she has on her plate. She has a hit tv show, a couple cook books and one more in the works. She heads to Cherry Lake where her sister lives and owns a function space. Bella takes advantage of the empty kitchen space to prep for her upcoming book, when a grease fire brings in the single father, handsome firefighter Jake.

A taste of great food and love finds their way to bella and Jake as her time at Cherry Lake heads towards its end and they have hard decisions to make.

A beautiful romantic Valentines Day read!

This is a charming story about finding love in the right place but at the wrong time. The main characters, Bella Moore and Jake Woods, are complete opposites. She is a TV chef, a whirlwind in constant motion and movement. He is a staid, calm man with a teenage son to look out for. For Bella, landing in Cherry Lake is a forced time of rest by her producer who is afraid she might burnout. She is not looking for romance or for a new home. Jake has been a widow for many years and has rarely dated or tried to fill his wife’s place in his life. Bella captures his attention and he cannot get away from the emotions and longing she stirs up in him. He does the same for her but Bella’s home is Seattle and unless she can perform a miracle, it will always be Seattle.

I loved the first book in this series, Christmas Glitter, so I was anxiously awaiting this one! I loved meeting another Moore sister and cannot wait to meet the rest. I also cannot wait to get Mari's back story and what I am sure will be an amazing romance for her. Bella was so different than her sister Dakota and unlike Dakota's love Adam, who hadn't intended a permanent return to Cherry Lake, the man Bella meets, Jake, has his feet firmly planted there. It is Bella who intends to be a short-timer before she returns to her glamorous life as a celebrity chef. This is a lovely story of two people slowly learning to change their ways and be more flexible about what life may have in store for them. I loved Jake's son too - he was quite the matchmaker.

A bit too tame for my tastes, but a really well written story. I'm not sure why Jake was so up in arms about his pictures being used, but I'm glad they were able to make things work.

On an enforced break from work, TV chef Bella is staying near her sister in Cherry Lake. This is the second book in the series - I haven't read the first but in general I don't think that mattered.
On her first day in the kitchen Bella causes a fire and meets local fire chief Jake. They have chemistry between them, but with such different lives can they have a future together?

Great characters in this book, particualrly Jake's son Cory, who is unlike any teenager I know.

I received a complimentary arc from Netgallery for review purposes.

This is book 2 in a series but the first couple was never in this story so this story stands alone very easily. I never read book 1 and I was never lost in this story as well.

This book stars Bella. who arrives in town at her sisters hotel and who is supposed to be on a 6 month sabbatical. But Bella has no idea how to rest and she is a cook so she offers to cook for her sisters restaurant until she explodes the old stove and Jake, a firefighter puts it out.

Jake is a single dad of son Cody, who is 17. I LOVED Cody so much. He was my favorite character in this story. Bella decides that while the hotel stove is being fixed to cook for Jake and his son and dad and that is how she gets to know them.

But Bella is not the average cook. She is famous and has a cooking show and lives in Seattle. Can her and Jake make it work long term even if she has to go back to Seattle?

This was a fun, sweet and romantic story and I really enjoyed the story and the writing. Bella was a fun character who made me tired just reading about. :)
