Hmmm… I didn't exactly take to the 'graphic novel' element of this. This book is mostly prose, and mostly short-form autobiography, but it is enlivened several times by the script being broken up into the captions for a technical illustration, instructions for origami, or designed as if it were a key to a map. I'm sure there is an audience for this author's memoirs regarding his father and the work they did in the oil/mechanical industries, and concerning the book's creator as a married man and parent more recently, but on the whole this wasn't really what I expected, and didn't really find it my thing.
