This was my first read from Sheryl Nantus. I was a little hesitant because I generally do not like jumping into the middle of series on the off chance that you miss some of the backstory. That ended up not being an issue and the story can be read as a stand-alone.

This is definitely a romance novel. The military and bodyguard aspects take a back seat. There was not real mystery to unfold since we pretty much knew what happened. The story, I felt, was focused on Ally coming into her own and realizing she had to stop covering for her brother. I appreciated that even though there was alpha-male vibes, Trey was very respectful and was not diminishing Ally's ability to take care of herself. I also liked the ending in that it focuses more the couple transitioning to focus on Ally's career than on Trey's, since you don't always see that in these kinds of books. Vincent (Ally's brother) is just a self-absorbed prick and I was happy to see him get what was coming to him.

All in all, the book was a good and easy romance read. It wasn't super intense; neither of the main characters were on a self-destructive warpath; and the bedroom scenes were fun.

Another bell ringer from Sheryl and the Delta Force Brotherhood Series. Damn this was a good book.
We start with Jessie meeting Ally at the club, Ally's brother has gone missing. Not unusual for this drunken, over indulged, sob who requires a handler to keep him in check. Being in Las Vegas on business is like giving Vincent the keys to the kingdom, he's got all the booze he can drink and gamble. When he goes off grid, ditching his handler Ally hires Jessie, who calls in Dylan and Trey.
Trey is the computer hacker wizard and all around good guy but who carries a long time need to see justice served after he and his best friend from the military are run down on the streets of NY City.
All Trey remembers is the mark on the drivers arm. When the photo Ally brings Jessie of her brother reveals a similar mark, Dylan calls Trey in, knowing he's been searching for any clue to this birthmark without success.
Trey is keeping an eye on Ally, while Edgar, Vincents handler is also out looking for him. Ally has enabled Vincent their entire adult life, especially in the business. She feels like she owes him. When her parents were killed and his parents, her Aunt and Uncle took her in, clearly Vincent was the golden child and Ally was Ally. As the book goes on and the parents are finally brought up to speed on a few things I guarantee you these people will turn your stomach. And what goes around comes around. Karma she's a bad b**ch for these folks. Meanwhile it's taking days to find Vincent, Ally along with Trey handle the company business and Ally is feeling pretty good about it. These two are definitely attracted to each other and one night things get really intense, until Trey shuts it down.
He wants to see Vincent first and look at him give him the chance to speak and doesn't feel right about sleeping with Ally, she doesn't know what has happened. He doesn't want to tell her until he's sure he's right. Or close to right. She doesn't understand why he just pushed her away and she's hurt and not happy. As any woman would be. I'd have drop kicked him.
When the call finally comes that Jessie has found Vincent and is bringing him back to Vegas, Ally shifts into operational mode. Clean up Vincent, make him presentable and try to get things together for this business deal. Vincent is so much worse than even painted when he finally shows up and shows his backside to everyone. Nasty bugger. Great writing Sheryl! After confronting Vincent, Ally is shaken and throws Trey out. After a series of fateful events Ally really starts to take a hard look at her life, Trey and things shift once again.
The story really heats up at the point and all I could do was keep turning the pages. This book was electric from beginning to end. Sheryl hit the ground running in this one and never let up. It's a fantastic read and a fantastic series.

This is my first book by Sheryl Nantus. I was surprised how well developed the characters were and how the story pulls the reader in right away with a story of a wayward brother and a revenge.

Trey and Ally were well developed and everything they did felt real and flowed though out the story. The reactions and actions of the different characters made since as the story moved closer and closer to the concussion. Their is romance and sex in the story but flows well this the story.

Hard Pursuit has a great flow from chapter to chapter that will keep readers wanting more as they end the story.

Since this was the first in the series I read the author was able to bring readers up to speed fast and this is a stand alone novel.

Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC (Amara) Publishing for the advance copy.

Excellent book! It's full of mystery, suspense, passion, and romance. Very well written with some characters you will love (Trey) and others you will hate (Nick). The story has lots of little twists and is very enjoyable.

Trey Pierce has put everything into tracking down his best friends murderer. When a new lead come walking right through the front door, it seems too good to be true just like the woman herself. Ally Sheldon peaks Trey's interest like no other woman ever has. He knows deep in his gut that she's hiding something though. Something that could put them both in danger. Sure Ally wants to find her brother but there's more. I doesn't matter how attracted he is to Ally, Trey is determined to not only uncover her secrets but to also find his answers.

I definitely recommend this one.

Gripping!

An emotional roller coaster ride that leads to the H/h to realize the lives they had been living were not what the should be.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

Hard Pursuit is the third book in the Delta Force Brotherhood. I enjoyed Trey the computer expert and Ally’s story, we may have less action than in the previous books but I think that only adds to Trey’s dynamic in the team and the interaction between him Ally and the other characters. I look forward to reading many more books by this author

Hard Pursuit by Sheryl Nantus is the third book in the Delta Force Brotherhood series and I have to say that I missed the action that the previous two books had but this addition with Trey and Ally was pretty good. Even though I wanted to smack Vincent upside the head and tell him to grow up more than once. I do agree with the other reviews than Ally and her family let Vincent's activities get covered up and ignored but a drunk driving accident plus knowing that he killed someone goes way over the line.

Trey Pierce loves his computer job at the Devil's Playground as well as the people who he calls family. When Jessie agrees to meet a client at the club Ally Sheldon who can't find her missing adopted brother and needs the help of both the Brotherhood, Jessie and Trey to find him before the Sheldon Construction presentation? Can Trey open her eyes to the fact that Vincent is not only a drunk but a gambler before someone gets hurt or killed

Ally Sheldon wants to be able to show her family that she can turn her families construction company into one that is the best. But her cousin Vincent is a spoiled brat and his parents have taken a blind eye to all of his faults gambling, alcoholism, and cutting corners. Ally was raised by her Aunt and Uncle after her parents were killed in a car accident, but she knows that someday Vincent will do something that they won't be able to cover up. I loved the former British Marine handler Edgar whose job is to try and keep Vincent out of trouble. But when Ally asks Jessie and the Brotherhood's help in finding her cousin little does she know that Trey will be the person who will stand by her side when her family won't.

Even though Hard Pursuit lack some of the previous books action I still loved this addition to the series and give it a high 4 stars.

The Brotherhood is like the A-Team on steroids. They are out to help the little guy or those with no other place to go.

Trey may be ex-Delta Force but he completely owns cyberspace! He can hack just about anything but he does have other talents. When Dylan asks him to help out with a new case, he is drawn to Ally right away. But as her story unfolds he realises that her brother may just be the man he is looking for, the man who killed his friend 5 years ago.

Ally is the brains behind her family's company. Her cousin/adopted brother may be the figurehead but it's her who makes the company work. But she is sick and tired of being her brothers keeper. He drinks too much, takes no responsibility for his own actions and their parents cover up for him. She doesn't know where to turn when he goes missing, but as she spends more time with Trey she can't help feeling a bit lighter knowing that she doesn't have to constantly mop up after him now!

Ally at times came across as just a bit too hard nosed! She threatened lawsuits etc if the news about her brother broke out, she was waaay too involved in keeping her company out of the muck. But on the other hand she genuinely cared for the people under her. I loved the way she took charge, made decisions and implemented her plans. Trey is just the full package, handsome, sexy and brains to match!

Vincent is completely odious and I would never tire of punching him in the face! I was so glad that everything resolved appropriately, even though it may not have wrapped up the way Trey intended. There was a chance to catch up with Dylan and Jessie and I loved Edgar! He needs a book, imagine it British silver (nearly bald in truth) fox! Love it!

I received an arc from Netgalley. This book was a roller coaster ride with ups and downs and lots of twists. At times I was disappointed in Alley as she and others spoiled her brother and let him get away with too much.

Trey comes along and somehow offers Alley a new perspective and she starts to stand on her own. A brother who goes missing for unknown reasons puts Alley on a mission to find him and who better to help than Trey.

I couldn’t put this book down and even though the spoiled rich kid drove me nuts the rest of the book made up for it. I think it was the authors mission to have this type of indecision by the reader.... makes for a better read.

I'm such a fan of this series. It's and automatic request as soon as I see one come up.

For five years Trey has been searching for the man who ran over he and his best friend, killing his best friend and injuring him, in New York City. Now his search has the first lead at identifying the name of the man when a woman walks into the bar and shows a photo of her missing brother with the only identifying mark Trey can remember.

When Ally's brother has disappeared from his hotel and they can't find him she goes to Jesse for help. She is terrified and angry all in one. He has a deadline and they are tired of his drunken binges. When it becomes evident that that's not all he's been up to it may destroy her.

Find out if they find him alive and if he is the man Trey has been searching for all this time when you read this book.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Loved this book! Troy is a computer expert and part of the Brotherhood, when he meets Ally, a construction company executive that is dealing with her cousin's alcoholism and shenanigans when he (the cousin) goes missing. Troy is called in to try to help find him, but finds something more than the cousin. In addition to finding the answer to a problem that's haunted him for five years, he also found Ally, a woman who, if not for her cousin, he could love.

This is a quickly moving story that hooked me from the first page and kept me hooked until the last page. I loved the characters and loved the story. While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel. This is a must read for fans of the genre and I've added the author to my must read authors' list.

A fairly good and fast read about Ally, who comes to Los Vegas searching for her drunken brother. Not sure if alive or dead, kidnapped or on a binge, she hires Trey to help find him. Sparks fly and a lot of build up on the past events and present. A few things became tiresome, especially with the idiot brother, but overall I enjoyed the book. Would recommend.

The only negative which really isn't a negative just a want for me is, I wish there had been more between Trey and Ally relationship wise. The book focuses on finding her "brother" and the mess he creates for her family and family business. In that regards, the book was great. In the beginning I actually wanted to give her "brother" the benefit of the doubt. That's how much trust Ally has in her family. She makes everyone else believe that it's all innocent too.

Received an ARC at no cost to author. This is the third book in this series about the Brotherhood or Delta Force either works. This is Trey's story the computer genius, the soft walking hottie and his new love interest Ally. I got to tell you folks that I wasn't crazy about Ally, she annoyed me in multiple aspects. First, I understood that she wanted to keep things under wraps, I got that, but I wasn't appreciative of her threatening them with a lawsuit, she needed them and yet she is demanding, yup rubbed me wrong. Then the way her and her family enabled Vincent, I totally agree with Trey, he is a grown ass man that needed to own up to his mistakes, I don't care what her family said, that was not helping Vincent instead it was detrimental to him, and lastly how she became a cry baby when Trey did the right thing by putting the brakes on when they were about to jump each others bones in the car, he did the right thing and she almost gets attacked and instead of thanking him, acted as if pepper spray could have really done something..Anyway, please do not misunderstand me, I enjoyed the book, I loved reading about Dylan and Jessie's part in it, even if just a little..And I can't wait til the next one!..And as always Enjoy!!!
