This was a very good true crime book. Not the most mind blowing crime of all time, but this story was well-written and kept me interested. I read a lot of true crime, but haven't read this author before. I will definitely be looking for more books by Michael Gleeman.

A decent true crime read. I felt that I needed more background information. I also found the book a bit boring and repetitive. This might have been better if trimmed down.

Thank you to Netgalley, the Publisher and the author for the opportunity to read this book in return for my honest opinion.

While I love murder cases in a tv show, I do not usually read the books, after reading this book, I feel like I should more often. This was a really good book, it was very detailed and gave so much backstory and information, it is hard to believe the depravity of some people. I do have to mention the editing was terrible, there were many grammatical and spelling errors, but the story made the book worthwhile.

Having previously read Michaels books, I looked forward to reading this one. . This one would have to be one of his best. I am an avid true crime reader who like to know the subjects backgrounds and what makes them do the things they do, so that would have to be the only negative for me. Highly recommend to true crime readers.

A really interesting true crime book, somewhat difficult to get into in parts but overall, a good interesting read.

An age old story masterfully told. A husband who isn't paying attention. A wife who feels uncherished. A young man trying to square up his strong Christian beliefs with his love for a married woman. You will be hooked from the first page. The writing reminded me very much of the late, great Ann Rule. The husband is a basically good man who is oblivious to the fact that although his wife is seemingly agreeable to opening their marriage, she feels greatly diminished by the experience. The wife seems to define herself by the man in her life. The young lover sees himself as her knight in shining armour. You come to know each character page by page and you see the inevitable coming but it in no way diminishes your desire to keep reading.

Let me start out by saying that I love reading true crime but on the other hand it blows my mind what people do to each other...This book was very well written true crime book.. A little too much wire tapped conversations at first which really bored me but after that I had to finish it... I would definitely recommend this book.

Thank you netgalley for letting me review this book.

This book reads like a great mystery novel, but it is a true story. The author left no stone unturned when writing this.

A well written book that explores a sad and tragic crime. I would have liked to see some background information about the early lives of the characters, but overall, a great true crime book. Michael Fleeman has a new fan!

I enjoyed this book. The happenings seemed too outlandish to be true - how could two avowedly strong Christians justify their evil this way? I do feel, based on the evidence as outlined here, that there was probably insufficient evidence to convict the wife in this case. What was there really aside from the evidence of the actual murderer? But I'm sure the evidence was stronger in court. I do wish the characters had been fleshed out more, especially the husband who was murdered. Still, a good read.

My thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Was not the book I expected, confused it for a thriller. Didn't realize it was true.

This book is about the murder of Robert Limon. It is a good book, but it was not for me. Sometimes it got bogged down too much into details and conversations.

I couldn't even remember the trial but this story is horrible because it is about normalcy gone mad.

The husband, Robert that 'He would rather be dead than get a divorce.' and he should have been careful what he asked for. It is sad if you are a believer how a couple in a church could go so wrong but this is the history of man and the daily fight of temptation.

This is a cautionary tale for anyone who thinks they are living "safe"..

The true crime novel in general never disappoints and this one is excellent! The book is very timely as the trial just wrapped up in late 2017. This particular crime; one of mis-guided passion, hits home because it occurred about 200 miles from where I live and I saw frequent updates about it on the news. A must read for True Crime enthusiasts!

This is my first time reading anything by this author. I love reading true crime books. Loved how descriptive the author was when giving details pertaining to this story. Just goes to show you sometimes the ones who mourn you are the ones who most likely had you killed. I will be reading more books by this author in the future.

Sad tale of a woman claiming to be trapped in an unhappy marriage, and conspiring with her younger lover to kill her husband. The religious overtones lift it above the ordinary. The police sting operation also makes it an interesting book to read.

I was given a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
True crime is a genre that I don’t normally read....that being said I am glad I requested a copy of this book.
The author wrote this in a way that it read like a story....not a news article. I found it to be easy to read and it flowed perfectly. Very well written.

You may or may not recall this trial, it was not that many years ago. I do remember hearing a bit about it myself in the news. Happy family man Robert Limon was killed in cold blood while at work one day. His poor wife devastated, and left to raise their two young children on her own. But was she as lost and alone without her husband as she wanted to appear? Gradually the story spilled out, of the church going but hard partying couple who liked to get drunk and swap sexual partners on their weekend getaways. When Sabrina Limon went from stay at home mom to part time Costco sample girl she wasn't plotting to kill her husband. But sometime shortly after beginning a flirtatious relationship with a young fireman she met there, their ponderings on how nice it would be to have her husband out of the way transformed from fantasy to cold blooded murder. This was a fascinating fact based account of the events before and during the murder trial.
