A thought provoking book which explores the real meaning of happiness. I came back to read this book during the current Covid climate, and I found it reassuring.

I was given an advanced copy through Netgalley for my review. I would highly recommend this book to family and friends and will buy a copy for myself.

Rethink Happiness was so good. The book was about how we look at God, our relationship with him and also how we view happiness. I love to read these types of books when I can’t get invested in the sermon, as I would like to. And then carry on reading this during the week. And I truly loved this book. I would never have picked this up as in a physical copy, but thanks to Netgalley, I’m glad I did. My favourite quote from this book is ‘Life will always have obstacles. Storms will always come and go. To experience no pain, failure, or problems is impossible. But what keeps is from sinking is the confidence that in the midst of it all, God remains. He remains faithful. He remains steady. He remains in the waters of life with us. And when we put our trust in him, he always catches us.’ And I think this truly captures the essence of this book.

4 out of 5 stars.
