This book is exactly what the title says. The photographs are simply amazing. The author does of very good job of describing the photographs using scientific terms anyone can understand. Most people will have never seen or read about Marijuana this way. A wonderful book to look through again and again. It will make a great gift. Enjoy

When arts and sciences collide, this book is a artistic and scientific representation of the anatomy of the Cannabis by exposing a collection of pictures took with an electronic microscope.

CANNABIS: MARIJUANA UNDER THE MICROSCOPE is a photography book containing images taken with a scanning electron microscope and then false colorized using Photoshop, or images taken with a light microscope or macrolense. The detail in the photographs is mesmerizing to look at, and the labeling was kept clear and concise so you know what you're looking at, which type of photograph it was, etc. It's the kind of photography book that makes for an interesting conversational piece.

Thank you for the opportunity to read Cannabis for a fair review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I learned some new things and now hav really cool “space age alien” visuals to go along with future reads! The photographs are amazing and each description packed full of information. Thank you again! Great job! I will be purchasing a hard copy for my reference shelf as well as for gifts! Thank you again!

Cannabis being legalized as a recreational and medical drug in so many jurisdictions recently makes this book very timely. I do however feel this book stands on its own for anyone who has even a passing interest in botany. The book is well written and has fantastic pictures of the lifecycle of Cannabis, with clear pictures at amazingly high magnifications. This book is a joy for those readers who feel more satisfied having learned something as well as appreciating the beauty of these book.
