This book, Lost in Whispers is the sequel to Lost in Light. It was a a gripping read, as was its prequel. It is mystery, secrets and suspense coupled with the paranormal. A ghost called Rosalyn, encountered when Detective Dori O discovers a very important find, inhabits Dori afterwards, As well as her professional life we also learn a lot about her personal life, about her relationship with her partner Gavin and how she gets on with his difficult at times daughter. This is an unusual read, crime coupled with paranormal and events of the afterlife, but it was well written, not predictable and full of suspense. I'd highly recommend it.
