Interesting premise to the story. Our MC is a strong willed character eager to do what’s right while also learning about who she is and what destiny has in store for her.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book. Unfortunately I have been unable to get into it.

Since I hadn't read Connected, the first book in the series, I had to backtrack and read that before diving into Imminence. And jus like Connected, I liked Imminence a lot. The story is well developed and the characters are great. There is suspense, drama, thrill and, of course, romance. Can't wait for the next book.
I chose to read this book and all opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. Thanks to NetGalley and Kat Stiles!

I didn't enjoy this very much at all. I wish I could say that there was something that really stood out. The plot was kind of okay but the characters didn't really click with me.

To be fair, I think I'm a little older than the target audience for this book. The writing seemed a little juvenile to me - just not very sophisticated, a little simplistic. It would probably suit a teenager better. On the positive side, I enjoyed the interactions between the friends and the plot was quite entertaining. All in all, a fine book- just not for me.
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an arc in exchange for my honest review.

Imminence is a follow up to Connected, the first book in the series. While I did read the first book and thoroughly enjoyed it, I could not get into this one as much. It started off slow, and never really picked up for me. In the end, it just seemed to fall flat.
I received an ARC copy of this book from NetGalley for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
