This is the second book in the series and was just as good as the first one. I really liked both heather and Mick and enjoyed getting to know them but for me, their families just made the book for me they were great. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more

I read a review copy from NG.

I read the first book in the series and I LOVED it. So I could not wait to read this second book. BUT I hated it. The writing was still great but I truly HATED the hero up til about 70% of the book. I mean HATE! He uses this other woman and it hurts Heather our heroine and I truly hated him for it.

Heather and Mick meet when she is 17. When he finds out her age, he dumps her so fast she never sees it coming. Now 11 years later, he is her new boss but the sparks are still there. Mick is really down on himself and that is also what I did not like about him. He thinks he is saving Heather from him by dating this other woman. He never has sex with the other woman but he keeps dating her and asking her out and she keeps throwing it in Heather's face and that is why I hated Mick.

Beyond that I loved the other characters in this book and I would read more books by the author. But Mick never again. UGH he was such a jerk.
