This was a new to me author and I can appreciate this book in a few ways.
While I really can't connect with the characters I still enjoyed the story.
Sometimes changes in life happen too fast for us to comprehend without the good Lord's help. All we need to do is ask. But it's also hard to ask. I should know. I hate asking for anything.
I have received an inheritance from my grandmother but I don't think that's the same thing. But it's still an inheritance.
I haven't experienced empty nest syndrome yet and I dread the day I do. Because it's gonna feel mighty lonely without my baby. He's 18 and ready for college.
I can certainly understand her kids' reaction to another man around their mom. I'd be leary too.
I love this authors writing. She certainly can weave a good story and I love her faith filled messages.

The Inheritance is a very well written inspirational romance. I loved the plot and enjoyed the author’s writing. I recommend to readers who enjoy a good romance.

The Inheritance is a story of restoration. Restoration of the heart, the life, the mind,, the Spirit, the relationships, her relationship with herself as she relies on her own ALMIGHTY GOD . She has to let go of her past, her children, her deceased husband, her distrust, her overwhelming loneliness and isolation and step on into a new world. One that could involve a man who adores her. Will she let her inheritance cloud her vision of him? There is one thing I didn't much care for, when the main character was slammed with something difficult and she was knocked off her feet per se, the other character ran and got her a cup of wine and he said that this will help you, sorry, It is like giving her a Xanax and saying here this will help you. Do not run to alcohol to cover up your problems. That is just my opinion.
