A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I enjoyed the book, but didn't really like the title. There are dragons in the book, I guess some would call them monsters but would you call yourself a monster? Azure is her stepbrother who seems nice. So he's a dragon. This is a very short fast read. Overall I liked it. Gave it a 3.5.

These stories are always short. Usually you are dropped into the middle of the action. This one though seemed to end in a cliffhanger. I guess there will probably be other stories to go with this one that will tie up some of the loose ends.

This is Maven and Azure’s story. At her mother’s she finds out she is a royal dragon. Her mate is her mother’s husband’s son. She finds out that her ex husband who abused her was trying to get to the royal dragons. His family is investigating how they knew about the royal dragons. I hope this a new series. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
