This was an interesting short read into the early life of Guinevere. The book progressed well, and character development was great. I enjoyed it immensely.
Having lived and worked in Glastonbury for two years I am a sucker for anything Arthurian and this gave me a good fix. It was quick and easy to read and I am now looking for the other books in this series. I will be encouraging my granddaughter to read it although she is far from a reluctant reader.
Thank you to Netgalley for giving me the chance to read this.
Thank you to NetGalley and Cheryl Carpinello for allowing me to read and review Guinevere: At the Dawn of Legend. I thought that this book was really fun! My daughters will love reading this! :)
Story was pretty slow, dragging out with too many details in a way that left my students bored. We have studied Arthurian legends in the past, and the general consensus is that this one wasn't as exciting, and the story didn't live up to what they'd seen before. The story could be summed up in a few chapters, making it a much better short story than full-length novel.
