Great book! If you are looking for something different yet entertaining, this is the book for you! The plot leaves you wanting more, but you will connect with the characters. A bit of a slow start, but the book picks up.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC of this in exchange for an honest review.

This book was hard to get into, and I will be continuing this for a while (as the pace is quite slow) before giving this one a full review.

Review to come.

Rebellion is the story of Jergle's desire to overthrow King Kuronas follows him as he marches off to storm the Kings stronghold.

There is lots of fighting between the factions, but it seems rather disorganized. I liked the riding of the different creatures by each side alongside traditional horses.

This book I really did try to complete but I could not finish it for a number of reasons:
- Formatting of paragraphs made it difficult to read.
- Many words joined together throughout the text (i.e. groundand instead of ground and) - was over 50 of these by the time i stopped reading and spelling mistakes
- Overly descrptive - telling me in detail down to the inches of each side when describing something or Sorrongoths armour, each piece he put on layer by layer.
- When a bunch of the characters enter the tent, each one is listed individually instead of Seruke and his new friends or Sorrongoth and the other commanders!

Overall I could not really see where this story was leading, disorganized leaders and just too many characters to keep track of, so I lost who was on which side.

I received this from netgalley in return for a honest review.

I wanted to like this book, but I didn't feel connected to it. Probably just not for me.

If you are into epic fantasies, then this book would be one of the recommendations I'd make. If you are into war, kingdoms, and you wouldn't mind reading a bit of people bashing each other to make way for common good then you'd love this.
Now, I'll admit, this was not all the way to my liking but I had that tingling feeling that Jergle should not have listened to Seruke, or embarked on conquering Cenock as yet. It felt so bold and for a moment, I almost told him "dude, get the small villages and councils to join the rebellion first, take your time with Cenock because I smell a rat," but I'm just a reader, and I'm all the way here in Kenya and he's miles or times away from me, so that didn't work out!
I know not what awaits Seruke, but I was impressed by his ability to survive and weasel his way out of deathly grips!
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC. Quick question, does it mean that I was part of the rebellion just by reading this? (don't answer that, Seruke will)
