A really fun, easy Harlequin read! I'm not too familiar with Harlequin in general, and while the last one I read didn't really strike my fancy this one was definitely more up my alley in terms of the worldbuilding and the steam factor. Really loved the concept of the story (vampire heroine is literally being haunted by werewolf hero), but I only wish that aspect of it had taken up more of the plot. I could've been into some more ghost sexytimes! I didn't realize this was part of an ongoing series either, and would've liked to have read the earlier installments but it didn't affect my overall enjoyment too much aside from not knowing some of the backstory of the Shadow Breeds.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sorry but I couldn't get into the book at all. I tried though, I'm so sorry for my ADD brain.

One sitting read. This story brought me in right away and kept me there. Thrills, drama, action and sex. What more could you ask for?

In a Flutter: So, so fun!
Fluttering Thoughts:
Worldbuilding: Irondell, Nightwing vampire colony setting, with our fab chick MC as Prime – cool! I also really enjoyed the rough world of the pack and their dynamics.
Characters: Vivianne is a very interesting woman and the vampire Prime of her colony. She’s a fighter, making it in a man’s world. She’s loyal and passionate, and not the cold-hearted creature she tries to come across as (particularly in her official capacity). Zane brought out the best of her.
Zane is a lycan and werewolf ghost, which is pretty cool. Ofc he’s intense and yummy. As the story goes on his sweet nature shines through and his loyal and determined streak make him oh so lovable.
Loved their banter, kick-ass chemistry, and hooooot one on one.
Plot: The slow burn enemies to lovers romance is sort of sweet and hot and so yummy. The non-romantic arc is interesting too, and I can see this developing into a great hybrid world.
Writing: Third person, past tense narrative, her/his POV. I loved his voice and sense of humor.
Curb Appeal: Fab cover, hooking blurb – impulsive buy material for my PNR needs.

I recommend Wolf Undaunted to fans of PNR involving hybrids and stories about odd couples making it in a world that seems to be pretty much against them.
