This was a fun good girl/bad boy romance! I really liked the characters even though there was a couple moments that they got under my skin but overall, this romance was fun & sexy!😍❤📚

Inked is a sexy little romp filled with laughter and some heartache.

Vik is a tattoo artist and a member of the Hard Riders MC, is a dark dream in leather and jeans. Vik has many sides to his personality. Vic is dangerous sexy and down right funny. I adore his Witt most of all. Vic has a problem and her name is Harper.

Harper is a CPA a numbers wiz, she makes people money so imagine her surprise when she finds herself wrapped around a sexy bad boy that has ability to turn her inside out. Harper is about to find out not everything or everyone fits into her neat little slots, especially the ultra sexy Tattoo artist Vik.

Vik and Harper are polar opposites. To my surprise it is what made Inked so entertaining. Both Hot and sweet sure, but gosh I enjoyed the wit as they bantered back and forth.

The supporting characters gave Inked a nice boost. Brooklyn ( BFF to Harper) and partner in crime, Rev & Romeo (Hard Rider Brothers to Vik) kept things interesting . When a brother messes up bad and falling hard it’s the duty of the family to show Vik of his mistakes.

As plots go Inked was is a well written MC romance with interesting moments along the way as well as some tender heart breaking moments.

Rated 4 Stilettos by Deb!

A woman out for revenge after her boyfriend leaves her. The breakup pushes Harper to do something outside her comfort zone. Will the tattoo artist be what she needs to move forward and discover she's worth it?

A hot story of a woman out to conquer her life, her desires, and with a man she least expected. This is a hot and steamy read of a man who will discover that doesn't really want to live a life alone.

Don't miss this fabulous read! You might find yourself getting a tattoo. Hopefully the artist is as creative as Vik :)

Im kind of confused that this book is part of the Hard Riders MC series as there was very little interaction with the MC in this book. Inked is very much character driven, and the characters are fairly complex. The story itself was passionate and entertaining. Anne Marsh writes a tightly woven romance and I did enjoy Inked. I was just looking for more appearances by the MC.

Bad biker boys and bankers, can anything be as hot? This was book 2 in this series, but for reading it as a standalone you wouldn't miss much. The scenes were steamy, the story was all right. I really enjoyed this story and it kept me occupied nicely on a plane trip through some rough weather! If you are looking for steam and heat and well...SEX, take a look at this book or series. The only problem I had with the book was the ending. The ending seemed a bit forced as if we just wanted to get to a HEA, I would have loved to see a bit more of the 12 days of Christmas....so many ideas that could have happened! But for this new line for Harlequin, I don't think you'd be too disappointed in the delivery of some hot steaming magic!

Inked is the second novel in the Hard Riders MC series and the third Harlequin Dare novel I've read, and while I wasn't in love with the preceding novel in this series, Ruled, at least I knew what to expect in this one, plenty of sex scenes, and this book certainly delivered them. I've become rather addicted to MC romances, although not much time in this novel is spent inside one, nor is there much mention of MC business aside from a meeting or two, but, at least the preceding novel in this series had something resembling a plot, while this one really didn't, which is why I'm giving this one only a 2-star rating.

As the novel opens, we first meet the hero, Vik, a heavily tattooed tattoo artist, contemplating what he'd like to do the somewhat inebriated heroine, Harper, who, after returning to her apartment after work and discovering that her boyfriend had not only kicked her out, but had also hired a service to pack up all her belongings and stow them in the garage came up with a plan. Her solution was to call her friend, Brooklyn, who joined her in getting sloshed and getting a room at the Bellagio. She's also decided she wants a tattoo to commemorate this life event, and Vik is only too happy to provide her with one, while admiring the body before him. Harper is also attracted to the great big, heavily muscled, MC riding, long-haired blond and best tattoo artist in Las Vegas.

What follows is simple. Vik agrees to be Harper's booty call. Apparently sex without a relationship is what he does best, and something he's probably done to hundreds, if not thousands of other women along the way, but somehow, buttoned-up banker, Harper, is the exception to his once and done rule, and since these two hit it off in bed as though they were made for each other, they agree to be each other's booty call in the future. That is pretty much all that happens in this novel, and while Ms. Marsh can certainly write hot and steamy sex scenes, I kept waiting for something more to happen, but it didn't.

While I found this to be a fun and hot read thanks to its two engaging main characters and their senses of humor, it was pretty much one sex scene after another, only the location and position of their almost non-stop sexcapades varied. While I know that the Dare imprint is intended to replace the Blaze imprint, at least the majority of the Blaze novels I've read in the past found time to include a plot and some drama, but the boy meets girl, they get in on a lot, she wants a relationship, he doesn't trope just wasn't enough to provide any sort of depth to this story. Of course, there's an HEA ending as expected, but even that was a bit jarring as Vik makes an emotional turnaround so fast that if you blinked, you missed it.

If a sizzling hot read is what you're seeking, I think you'll enjoy this one, but if you like some substance to your novels, some connection between the hero and heroine aside from their sexual relationship, some character development, some suspense, some action, you won't find it here.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

I really liked this book. I wanted to read it because the main character worked at a bank like me. The book drew me in and made me want to keep reading. Harper and Vik have amazing chemistry and I loved their relationship. I would definitely read more from this author.

A well written story with likable characters in Vik, a brawny MC biker/tattoo artist, and Harper, a banker. Separately I thought the characters were great but their connection seemed forced. They had nothing in common other than her tattoo and his insta-lust. They did have steamy chemistry and hot sex. Not much MC in the story which I was looking for. Still an enjoyable read. I voluntarily reviewed a NetGalley ARC.

Cute, hot and sexy! With the next book in the Hard Riders MC series, we get bad boy Vik's story. He's a major player, but he just might make an exception when he meets a good girl too hard to resist! I loved the characters and their cute connection. There's really very little MC lifestyle shown in the book, but overall I enjoyed it!

Investment banker Harper is tired of living the laid back, staid lifestyle that has left her alone and looking to start over. She's going to shake things up and live it up for once ... starting with her first tattoo!

Tattoo artist and motorcycle club member Vik isn't one for settling into a relationship, but one look at Harper has him sitting up and taking notice. Add the fact that he gets to touch her and make his permanent mark on her? Oh yeah, he's ready to get down to business with this chick!

Harper meets Vik when she decides to get a tattoo. These two people are from different worlds but are instantly attracted to each other. I enjoyed reading this book.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Okay...I wasn't the biggest fan of the first book in this series, but I gave this one a chance.
What I loved: I loved that I liked this one better than the first one. :-) I really loved Vik's character. I loved the humor between these two.
What I liked: I liked the characters in this one. I felt more of a connections with them/to them.
What I hated: There was this mention of the two characters having met before...but then that kind of fell away. I wish that would have been explored more...I wish that would have came back into the play. I felt like it could have been bigger.

I like this author, and I am always drawn to her stories. I know I will get a well written book, with characters I can relate to and sexual chemistry that was scorching.

Harper and Vik have a history...although only one of them remembers it. Harper wants a tattoo, a way to show the past is in her past, and she wants to commemorate that.

There isn't a lot to this story that is particularly unique, but at the same time it is satisfying, and you enjoy it. I know I did.

I recommend this title.

When Harper decides to get a tattoo the last person she is expecting is the boy that she slept with years ago that she still thinks about. Vik notices the attractive girl he is tattooing but he doesn't remember her, at all. When Harper reveals who she is, Vik is excited to get to know her again but he doesn't do relationships...no matter what. Pretty soon both Harper and Vik will have to decide is what they have is real and if they are both willing to try to make it work.
A steamy read with a big, alpha type male that made my toes curled. I loved Harper as well, she was strong in her own way and held her own; now I want to check out more from Anne Marsh.

I liked this book but the attraction between Vik and Harper seemed a little forced at times. For me, I had a hard time connecting this book as a MC book as there was little to no interaction with the club or many of its members.

I think I would have enjoyed this book a whole lot more if we’d have gotten more of the MC life – there just isn’t a lot of interaction with the club and I found that very disappointing. Though this book is definitely hot, it was a lot more sex than romance/story and it didn’t keep my attention. I didn’t dislike this story, I just didn’t love it so I’m giving 3 stars.

Harper was recently dumped by her longtime boyfriend and on a night out with her girls, she winds up at Vik’s tattoo shop to get a tattoo. Vik is all about getting with Harper for a week or so – it takes some convincing but Harper and Vik wind up in a friends-with-benefits type situation. Vik knows he’s not long-term material and sets out to find Harper the perfect forever man, which of course, turns into a crazy time for them both.

On the one hand, I found it a refreshingly new plotline for Vik to be game to help Harper find another man. At the same time, that is so unlike the usual MC-alpha male that it made things weird. I’m just up in the air on this story and probably won’t be reading further into the series.

Anyone who knows me knows that Tattooed bad boys are my kryptonite. Add in a buttoned up/good girl heroine and it is on!! I loveeed this book. I thought Harper and Vik were so sexy and fun and their banter was so hot. I could not get enough!

When good girl Harper and Bad boy biker/tattoo shop owner Vik realize they both want each other, they decide to compromise - He is Mr. No committment and she is looking for her forever man. So in the meantime they try out the friends with benefits perks and take it from there.what could go wrong? But when Harper wants more will Vik realize the prize in his arms or let her go forever?

Gahh!! I loved this story. I loved that they both weren't expecting one another but the minute they met, their chemistry exploded and their connection ran deep. It was amazing to see as they spent more time together as "friends" they realized how much they both meant to one another. This was an outstanding addition to Harlequin's Dare series as it had heat, humor and an amazing romantic story. I would like to thank Netgalley and Harlequin for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

I received this book from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Harper is trying to get over her boyfriend giving her the boot and she decides to celebrate by getting a tattoo. She walks into Vik’s shop on the strip in Vegas and asks him to give her something. Vik can’t keep his eyes off her, and convicts himself that she would be a great fling for a week or so. But he’s not a long term relationship man. So he decides he could even help Harper find Mr. Right while he is her best friend with benefits. Of course, the best laid plans...

Okay, so I have to admit that I may have a teensy thing for cute and quirky motorcycle romance books. I mean, sometimes it’s nice to not have blood, rape, war, who knows what else that can accompany a romance with some bikers. This was a nice light romance (not light on the sexy details though). I liked the interactions between Harper and Vik. Granted their initial interactions with each other did feel a little rushed but that might have been because the book overall was short. If I could have my cake and eat it too there would have been a little more build up between them before they started exploring their relationship. Another reason that I only rated it 3 stars was because of the plot. It was a little stilted and could have been more detailed and a little more interesting. We got a little glimpse of Vik’s dad but it didnt really go anywhere. I could have had a little more to the plot besides the two of them romancing each other. But I loved Vik. He was such a cuddly giant teddy bear that tried to act tough. It was really cute. I loved his way of enacting the Christmas Song, it was pretty darn sweet.

I’ll read other books in the series, and I did miss the first book so I will go back and try that one as well.

I read this on a whim and didn’t realise it was the second in a series until after I finished it but it didn’t matter. The books will all centre around different characters in the same motorcycle club and although the hero from the first book does appear a couple times in this one, it doesn’t talk much around his story and you can easily read this first without spoiling anything.

Harper is a banker who caught her boyfriend cheating and has now decided on a whim to get a tattoo and so she strolls into the shop where Vik works. They’ve actually met before…..but Vik doesn’t remember her however he’s pretty interested in her now. Harper doesn’t know what she wants to get tattooed on her so she lets Vik choose and so he designs something that he thinks fits her and where she’s at in her life.

From there they segue into a sort of friends with benefits arrangement (read: booty calls) where they talk about a lot how neither of them want commitment. Harper just wants to live a little after the souring of her previous relationship and although Vik’s father wants him to find a good woman and settle down, Vik’s motto seems to be ‘here for a good time, not a long time’ and he’ll just take as many women as he can find, thanks. Although once he meets Harper, that kind of dries up.

This was….okay I guess? Nothing ground breaking. Vik is annoyingly smirky and cocky and he’s more playboy than aloof biker. It annoys me when people go and get tattoos without even knowing what they want though. You’re inking something permanently onto your skin and you can’t even be bothered to choose what it is? Also this tattoo seems elaborate but is completed in one session and there’s no aftercare and the next time Harper even looks at it , it’s perfectly healed. Magic.

I wanted to explore the fact that they’d already ‘known’ each other (and I do meant that in every sense) but it’s kind of glossed over? Harper remembers it quite well but Vik has zero memory of it whatsoever and she makes no real attempt to enlighten him as to when/where it was and it’s basically never mentioned again. She doesn’t seem particularly insulted that he doesn’t even remember her and Vik is keen to make amends by making it up to her. It’s fine, pretty standard, I never really felt like they had much chemistry though. Vik doesn’t really come across as very deep – I think the relationship with his father and the way his father was urging him to settle down was an attempt to show the man behind the MC but it didn’t really do much. I did like that he took care of his father but I was a little confused about whether their lifestyle was 100% legit these days.

Harper was fine, a bit bland. She’s some sort of investment banker or something who manages other people’s money (and does it very well, which was good to see). Her break up happens before the book starts and there’s no real interaction with her ex – I thought there might be something for closure but it doesn’t happen. Just a scene where she tries to steal her cat back which goes a bit awry.

Harper and Vik spend most of the book assuring themselves that they’re not in a relationship and it’s just this or that with no strings attached but it’s pretty obvious that it’s not just this or that and that there are some strings attached. It takes Vik a ridiculously long amount of time to figure out what’s going on and he was just so annoyingly stubborn about it for no good reason that it got a bit tedious towards the end. Perhaps because this is really short and although they do spend time together out of bed, it’s not much so it did feel a bit of a stretch that there were these powerful feelings already. Especially for two people who hadn’t wanted anything more and in Vik’s case, didn’t really seem to have had many, if any, proper relationships. Could’ve probably done with a bit more fleshing out.

The character from the story before this piqued my interest and I thought about going to check that book out and I might do that but it’s only a novella like this one and from the same category. I’ve read two DARE novels now and I don’t think they’re for me. Whilst it’s a very quick and easy read, it’s a bit bland and for me there was nothing that stood out about it character or story wise unfortunately.

4/10

Inked takes us back into Hard Riders MC territory as we focus on Harper and Vik. We get less motorcycle club and much more sexy play between Harper and Vik as they go from friends with benefits to lovers. It's all fun and sexiness until love gets in the way, and then Vik needs a plan for Harper.
I must admit that I started Inked with caution. I was still remembering Ruled that I read not long ago which was somewhat harsh and angry though enjoyable. It was full of the MC life and what it meant to be in one. This story takes a decidedly different turn as strait-laced investment banker, Harper tangles with sexy bad boy biker, Vik. This is fun with an edge of sexiness and excitement. It doesn't have any of the harshness of the first book and I enjoyed it so much more.
Vik is a great guy. He's kind, generous, fun, caring and talented. He's also a bit of a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy, so when he offers to be Harper's booty call, he doesn't expect it to last. Only he can't get enough of Harper and they become more than just a hook up. As their affair continues, a deep friendship develops and even though Vik doesn't know it, he's falling for Harper. But Vik is a stubborn idiot and he thinks he's not a forever kind of guy. Mired in grief and denial, he's pretty much a jerk to Harper which leads to some epic groveling and grand gestures. But like Vik, his plans and grand gestures are filled with fun and designed to win Harper back.
Harper is great too. She's a wonderful counterpoint to Vik's spontaneity. She loves her plans and organization. She's got a planner for everything. It tickled me silly to find out she even has a Happy Planner because my friend Bambi is all into her planners and I get to see what she does with washi tape and stickers. I loved that Harper had the guts to go for what she wanted and that was Vik because she's a strong, competent and confident woman. And she had a big enough heart to forgive when Vik effs up and makes amends.
The only thing that bothered me in this book was that Harper got a tattoo at the very beginning of the story and the very next day, she goes swimming. The only thing I could think after reading that was she'd get an infection from swimming with a fresh tattoo. It threw me out of the story. Later on, I figure out that the tattoo is securely bandaged up and she hadn't even seen the finished product of the tattoo yet (another strange thing which had me stop and think) until much later when the bandages were removed. I found that surprising since in my own experience of getting a tattoo the artist always showed me the final product before he bandaged me up and I got strict warnings about being careful not to wet it while showering and not going swimming with it while it was healing. It seemed to me a little tattoo after care research might have been useful in this instance.
I'm not sure if there will be more books in this series but if this story is any indication of the direction the series is taking, I'm all for reading more Hard Riders MC books from Ms Marsh.

Harper just got kicked to the curb by her boyfriend. A drunk and crazy night out with the girls leads her to Vik’s tattoo shop. She is tired of being the good girl. She wants to live it up a bit and getting tatted is the perfect start. It doesn’t hurt that Vik is hot and they shared a moment in high school.

I liked Harper. She quickly shed her good girl persona and got down and dirty with Vik. He didn’t remember her and she never mentioned their past interaction. I kind of wanted to know more about that but in the grand scheme of things, it really didn’t matter.

I liked Vik as a main character but there is very little to him outside of his good looks and great body. He is very sweet and kind but I don’t know more to him. I have to chalk a lot of the missing pieces up to the length of the book but I think that is still a poor excuse since Vik swears up and down that he is only good as a sex buddy. Why is he so closed off?

I saw the set up for Harper getting her heart broken a mile away and it annoyed me. The ending was too rushed. Vik literally came around in one chapter and it took away from their HEA. There is a lot of substance that could have been added to the story to make it just perfect.

I enjoyed this one way better than the first book in the series. I look forward to seeing other members of the club fall in love.

Inked is Anne Marsh's next red-hot read in the Hard Riders MC series. If you though Rev was a crazy bad boy, wait until you meet his friend!

Tattoo artist Vik finds the perfect pretend girlfriend to get his father off his back for a while. Harper is an investment banker and has just been kicked out of her home and relationship. So while she and Vik become each other's booty call in reality, Vik's father is under the impression that he's finally found the one.

I have to say that I loved this story much more than Ruled. Vik is not completely what I thought he was going to be just from the peek of him from the previous story. The image I get after reading Inked is of a big teddy bear because, come on! His character is so endearing even when he's being seductive. He doesn't come across as a womanizing jerk, just a guy who really, really enjoys the company of women and loves to pretend he's all party and play. He and Harper were the perfect match up even though, yet again, they are total opposites. Harper might seem uptight on the surface but she can go toe-to-toe with Vik. Vik is adamant that real feelings don't belong in their relationship, but as they get to know each other the pull of attraction is undeniable.

If you love friends with benefits to full blown relationship stories then this is the read for you! Anne Marsh doesn't make it easy for Vik and Harper to find their happy ending but when they get there it's the sweetest ending ever!
