This was such a fun and unique recipe book! I loved the idea of matching delicious recipes with good soulful music. I can't wait to try out some of these recipes. Pierce Brosman’s Moroccan Chicken looks especially mouthwatering. A great gift for anyone who loves celebrities, music, or food... or all three! I can think of quite a few friends that would love to find a copy of this book under the Christmas tree.

This is a nice biography with some recipes thrown in. However, I would have liked more recipes. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I wasn't familiar with Chef Zipora before seeing this book. I was however intrigued by the interactive experience, as well as the fact that I am a music and food lover too. Since one of the taglines referenced bringing food and music together to increase your experience and enjoyment, I was ready to start reading as preparing and eating food is a big part of my life.
This is an interesting story that highlighted the chef's early years, her love of food and music, how she came to America and how she became a chef to the stars. There are many stories about the clients Chef Zipora cooked for as well as her travels with some of them around the world. The common theme throughout is not only the need for harmony and balance in the kitchen but also how healthy food, prepared well nurtures the body and mind( whether you are a celebrity or not). Recipes shared were particular favorites of Mariah Carey, Pierce Brosnan, Bob Hope and the Kelly family, all former clients of the chef.
After downloading the free app, additional content was available by hovering over certain photos. This was the first interactive book I have read so it was novel, fun and provided some bonus content. Chef Zipora also included a link to her website where you can access videos, recipes, news, events as well as the option to purchase music for a delicious life. Chef Ziparo's smile and obvious love of life, food and music are infectious and inspiring. This was a quick read on my Kindle(148 pages) but quite enjoyable as it made me think about the atmosphere in my kitchen and dining room as well as the food itself.

An interactive cookbook was a first for me. I enjoyed the book immensely and the stories were interesting to read . An awesome book for all food and music lovers!

Food, just like music can make life richer and more memorable. The recipes, such as Mariah Carey's Red and Yellow Pepper Soup, The Kelly's Family Waffles with Blueberry Sauce, Pierce Brosnan's Heirloom Tomato Soup with Succotash or Bob and Dolores Hope's Prosciutto Roasted Fresh Fig's, are all wonderful.
