This was-- really weird. So, Deathstroke gets a team called Defiance. It's led by his ex-wife. And has his son Joey and daughter Rose on it. As well as Terra (ugh), Wally, and Tanya (as Kid Flash and Power Girl respectively).

They go on a bunch of different missions where Slade doesn't do a lot. Heh. With weird new uniforms and lots of tensions and tons of differing reasons for being/staying on the team.

It was an okay TPB. I had gotten back into Deathstroke a little with the Superman: Hopes and Fears TPB, but, I'm still not sure about how I like this white garbed Deathstroke.

I received this book via Netgalley thanks to DC Entertainment.

Deathstroke and his ex-wife have created a team of young superheroes that he is training. But each of the team members has issues with him. Some resent his attention, some think that he is hiding something, while others think that he has not reformed at all, that this is just a very strange charade. And then the Society comes calling. But the funnest story is the Christmas tale that ends the book! Too bad about Santa.

In this one volume, the reader is treated not only an amazing adventure but a peek at the inner motivations of some characters they thought the already knew so well.
