Taking on Solomon Grundy, the Outlaws suffer a loss in battle. Bizarro, badly beaten seems to be on edge of death, so... they take him to his creator to see if anything can be done. Lex Luthor has an idea: healing through kryptonite. This not only heals him, but makes him WAY better, creating a sort of Bizarro 2.0, still the same brawn and power, but now with a MENSA-level genius brain.
Bizarro gets right to work, designing a huge hovering base for them, complete with high level tech, vehicles and weapons, and a very interesting piece of tech: "quantum translocationalism", or simply put, a warp door which allows them to go anywhere their heart desires.
Taking advantage of both this door and the increased mental capacity of Bizarro, the Outlaws find themselves: calming the nerves of the heroes in the Belfry (Batwoman, Batwing, Clayface, Orphan, Azrael); teaming up with Suicide Squad to help stop a machine that will lead to world destruction; and battles with both Queen Bee and KG Beast (now only known as Beast). Bizarro (despite his liquid kryptonite baths) is slowly reversing his knowledgeable self back to the derpy Bizarro we all have known.
What's next for the Outlaws? Unknown, but at least the title is still pretty good.

With Bizarro dying, Artemis And Red Hood turn to Lex Luthor for aid. Lex Luthor helps in a round-about way in that he brought out a smart Bizarro. After Bizarro whips up an invisible floating hideout, Batwoman and company come calling which leads to a team-up with the Suicide Squad. Plus there was an interesting interlude wher the Outlaws team-up with Nightwing to infiltrate a Russian circus. Fun times! But how long will Bizarro 2.0 last?

It always seems to take me lionger to get into these Red Hood serieses (well, okay, this is like the second, and the first was the New 52 series, which... that took quite a while). But, I think that I'm liking this DC Rebirth Version of Jason Todd and friends.

We get a lot of Bizarro in this, which was cool too, although, something is going on with him that he's trying to hide. And, I can't quite guage whether it's going to be sorta big, or humongous when everyone learns about it.

There was also some stuff with the Suicide Squad in this, and we also got some Nightwing at a Circus, which is always fun.
And some more awesome lines too, like one of Bizarro's, "Me Am Bizarro. Cloned on Wednesday. Kick butt on Friday." Heh, I laughed out loud for sure.

I received this book via Netgalley thanks to DC Entertainment.
