I hadn't read book one (but thought I had) so I was a little confused at first. That said, I still really enjoyed this book. The characters were amazing, and I felt that the author dealt with trauma very well.

Enchanting sexy love story

I haven't gotten caught up in "royal fever" but there was something about the synopsis of Tracy Wolff's Royal Treatment that drew my interest, and I'm so glad that I gave this book a try.
I found the main characters Garrett and Lola very likable and totally believable. I loved how while almost like opposites in personality they just fit each other. This book pulled at a spectrum of emotions from sad to joyous. There was romance and also some very sexy and loving moments. I found the author handled the trauma of and healing process of Garrett's kidnapping very thoughtfully.
If you are looking for a book that entertains and makes you think just a little bit about the reality of the royal life this book is a must.

I struggled when I first began reading Royal Tratment. I didn't see their relationship forming early on. The romance and the chemistry changed about 25% until the book and I then couldn't read this fast enough.
Garrett and Lola were adorable together. I liked watching their friendship grow into something more.
While I enjoyed the book, these were a few storylines that I would have liked to read more about.

Absolutely wonderful! Gorgeous Garrett is everything you want in a Prince and more. After being kidnapped and held captive for three months he has been rehabbing for the past nine months and bored out of his mind, especially since his father has deemed him now unworthy to be the crown Prince. His entire life has been about him being the Crown Prince and now after his abduction his father thinks he is not worthy. Lola Barnes crosses his path, or his beach, and her sassiness is something he cannot deny and finally something intrigues him. Their instant chemistry and fence jumping evening walk and ending with a smoldering kiss goodnight which is caught by a photographer and splashed across the papers by morning. This leads to so much fun and frolicking and a couple is born. They were meant for each other and Lola was just what Garrett needed to help him heal. This was beautifully written and I highly recommend it.

First I want to say that I loved this book. Absolutely. Second I want to say that I’m a little bummed that this series is my first taste of this awesome author. I have to apologize for that, Ms. Wolff. Seriously, I have close friends who are major, long time fans who wanted me, for ages, to pick up your books. It seems I always had something else on my agenda. It was my loss, but I intend to make up for it now.

I’m really looking forward to my upcoming trip to Wildemar. I can’t wait to catch a glimpse Kian and Savvy or Garrett and Lola. What? I can’t go to Wildemar? Why?? It’s fictional! But the talented Ms. Wolff makes it seem real, like I could go strolling through the gardens...when they’re open to the public...and throw a coin over my shoulder into a fountain. Her characters came just as alive as her beautiful fairy-tale kingdom.

I was besotted with Kian and Savvy after reading Royal Pain (My review can be found here), and didn’t think it was possible to like Garrett’s story as much or more. The truth is that I adore these twin royals. I love their women and I love their chemistry. And Wildemar. But I really, really don’t like their father, the King...he’s a manipulative a$$hole!

We know from book one and the blurb that Garrett was kidnapped and tortured nine months earlier. What we don’t know until now is just how bad it was. It was pretty freaking bad. Even worse, The King removed him as heir to the throne and made him the spare, leaving Garrett at loose ends. But that’s okay, it’s how he met Lola. When Garrett was swimming on a very private beach, he noticed a very curvy redhead arguing with his bodyguards. She wanted on that beach. Garrett finds out quickly that rules don’t mean much to Lola...and the sparks start to fly.

If you’ve read book one, you know that Ms. Wolff can ramp up the heat. The sexual tension? Gulp worthy! And when that tightly wound tension finally breaks, it sizzles. It. Is. Hott! But, not in an over the top or kinky way, just normal...omg, I wish it was normal!...and healthy way. Hot stuff. And fun.

Garrett has a few issues to get through...the man endured torture, after all...and has lost his right to be the next king, but Lola just might help him with that. This book is more than just a sexy romance. This story, and the characters, have depth. I suggest that you grab a copy as soon as possible, and...

Enjoy!

This was a great follow up to the first book in this series! I loved Kian, but Garrett was so broken and injured that I couldn’t help but love him more!

When Garrett sees the little spitfire chewing out one of his security detail he’s drawn to her but as their interaction continues he’s more than drawn. No one treats him like she does. And he’s all over that! It’s been nine months since the rescue from his abduction where he was tortured. He’s still trying to find some kind of healing but it’s not going so well. It doesn’t help that his father, the King, has taken away Garret’s right to the throne because of the mistreatment he received during his captivity.

Lola is a free spirit. Raised by a single mother and ignored by her father, she’s found a little niche for herself in the world of fashion. What she refuses to do is give any man the power to ever leave her and break her heart again. When Garret charms her into a date and one scorching hot kiss, she’s more amiable to the crazy plan he presents to her. They will work together to gain the throne back to its rightful heir.

I loved all the ins and outs of this couple’s relationship. Both had past issues to get through and neither are capable of opening up about it. Garret’s were definitely the worse but he’s hidden his pain and emotional trauma so well that those around him, minus Lola, don’t realize how “damaged” he really is.

Lola was such the perfect counterpart for Garret and he was so charming and fun, refusing to let go. A bit of a beta hero he was transformed by Lola’s attitude toward life, problems and him. This was a well paced read with great secondary characters, Kian and Savvy from book 1 play quite a bit of a role, and steamy in all the appropriate parts.

Definitely one you want to check out if you like some royal romance!

Thanks Netgalley for a copy to read and review.

Hot cover alert and this blurb was amazing. I did not read the first book but this book was so amazing I may have to go read Kian's story. Garrett lost his place in succession for the throne because he had been kidnapped and tortured for months. Seemed a bit unethical but who can tell with Royals. After a brief run in with a fire blazing red headed Lola, Garrett seems to be swept away in his attraction for her.

I caught myself several times just smiling and laughing through out this story, and I have to say that this book is a rare treat. I absolutely loved it.... there is no words on how relaxing and fun this story is. How it engrossed I was as Garrett and Lola's chemistry just bloomed. Just an amazing book. I recommend it to anyone who loves romances. Garrett was definitely a Royal Hotness, and Lola was just amazing for him. The characters just fit each other sometimes well that it's just a shame the book had to end with a HEA....but that's just royalty for you. Ten stars of entertainment!!!

This was a tough one to figure out how to rate. I liked Garrett and Lola a lot. In fact, I’d say I liked Garrett way more than his brother who failed to win me over in the first book in this series and whose appearance in this book certainly did not do much to improve on my original opinion. I felt terrible for Garrett and what he’d endured and Lola’s backstory was sparse but had enough details to convey that she definitely had legitimate reasons for her trust issues.

I think my main problem in the book had to do with the King and I guess Kian as well. Given all the trauma and torture Garrett had endured, I’m baffled at how cavalier his family handled it and to put it bluntly, his father was an ASS. And given that scene in the hotel suite at the end, I kind of feel that the ending seemed rushed. That scene needed to happen, Garrett needed to have that moment. But it felt like after that scene, there ought to have been some scene showing how the family dynamics resolved themselves. I get that this is a romance but the family dynamics and the throne and who would be the crown prince played a very big role in all of that and then seemingly just got brushed under the rug.

Such a great read! Love the humor and banter of Garrett and Lola and their journey!

I was looking forward to reading this story after reading Kian's story in the first installment of this series. Garrett is set to become the next king of his country, but after being kidnapped and tortured, his father, the current King does not think that Garrett is ready for the throne. Garrett was always one to follow the rules, however, when he meets Lola he starts to follow his heart instead. This was a great read. I loved the connection the characters had.

Being a royal has never looked so awful as it does to Lola. She has met his Royal Hottness and is falling hard and fast as she enters into a temporary agreement to rectify his position as heir since he was demoted to spare after his abduction. Her love for him will help him to open up and overcome his fears.

Garrett and Lola meet in an unexpected encounter. She is a brash Amercian who does not care one iota that he is a prince. Garrett is still reeling from being stripped of his automatic ascension into King and having his twin brother slotted in by his father. His father was difficult and overbearing throughout this book. Garrett's kidnapping, torture and subsequent PTSD was downplayed by all around him. He was stoic to the point of being almost martyr. Lola owned her own business and was quite successful in her own right. She was kind of in your face at points and didn't want anyone to tell her what to do, but had no problem letting people know how she felt. She had daddy issues that were warranted, but used them as an excuse for her behavior a bit too much. Her inability to understand Garrett's feelings and her refusal to see him as different than her father caused more than a few problems. Overall it was a good book and showcased both personalities in enough detail that you felt like you knew them both. A good continuation of this series.

I really love the way this author writes, and this series really works for me. Just as hot as Kian was in book one, Garrett surpassed that in this story, his recent past was heart wrenching, so when he finally does let it out, your heart breaks for everything he had to endure. Absolutely loved Lola, although my moms name was Lola, it definitely fits this character to a tee. Loved her feistiness, loved the way she could care less Garrett was the crown prince, and loved that way she showed her feelings to Garrett, even though her fears were real. You would think this would be a corny story, I mean really, crowned princes falling for the plain Jane American woman, it’s fairytale material, but it really works. Writing is incredible, very difficult to put down, but ones gotta sleep, kept me very engaged page after page. Adored this couple, you feel the chemistry come right off the page, and your heart melts the way Garrett looks after Lola, even though he has some pretty big hurdles to overcome after his abduction. The king is an ass, like nothing about him, so I’m glad there’s little mention of him other than to piss you off with what he says. All the makings of a really good book! Definitely plan to add this series to my library and can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

Oh my what a wonderful book, this was such an emotional read. At the beginning of this book I really couldn't get into it, but as I kept going I was sucked in and loved every word of it. The emotions you get from Garrett will tear you apart and then with Lola her emotions and feelings will have you wanting to give them both hugs and not let them go. I really loved this book.

I loved the first book in this series, so I was thrilled to be able to read and review this one through NetGalley. Thankfully, the book not only lived up to my expectations, it exceeded them. Garrett and Lola were incredibly likeable characters who came together to become a great couple. From the descriptions of Garrett in the first book, I expected him to be uptight and perhaps a somewhat unlikeable character, but he turned out to be funny and sweet in a lot of unexpected ways. He certainly suffered from his time in captivity, but his determination not to let it break him was clear. Lola was just the perfect heroine for him - strong and feisty without being overbearing. They really brought out the best in each other.

I wish Garrett and Kian had more siblings! I would happily keep reading books in this series.

I’ve been waiting for Garrett’s story & it didn’t disappoint me. The gripping storyline of the day to day return to reality after his kidnapping & torture & the murder of his security team, his friends was truly a great read. The depth to which author Tracey Wolff takes Garrett at times is simply amazing. His character, a sexy, wonderful, caring man is tortured not only by the physical reminders of his kidnaping & torture but by the nightmares replaying over & over every night in his mind. His character has grown throughout the story, that sees his undivided attention for getting back his rightful place in line for the throne of his country replaced with his fight to keep hold of the woman who has stolen his heart. Lola Barnes is sassy, beautiful & smart, with the knack for getting people to step outside their boxes & live a little more than usual. When a run in with Garrett at the beach turns into more, Lola finds herself stepping out of her comfort zone to help Garrett & in return finds herself falling hard for the man so far out of her league. The chemistry between Garrett & Lola was definitely off the charts when they finally decided to stop fighting the pull between them. Their chemistry is what kept them moving forward & the determination to see the plans made for Garrett’s return to the throne on track until the King throws a wrench in them. This wrench causes a rift between Garrett & Lola & leads to a total breakdown of Garrett which is long overdue. I enjoyed seeing Kian & Savvy again, but can truthfully say I definitely didn’t like their father the King anymore in this book than I did in Kian’s. This was definitely an emotional roller coaster ride. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved this book! Garrett is next in line for the throne, his father the King has groomed him from day one, Kian his twin is not King material. Until Garrett is kidnapped for 8 months and endured a hellish torture. Kian is now taking Garrett's place doing his father's bidding and screwing it up royally. Garrett has been shunned, deemed unworthy, unstable and certainly not worth his father's trouble. So we have a bit of role reversal in this book, although Kian is still a pinhead.
No one will ever understand what Garrett went through during those months he was help captive.
He has no friends, he's got his security team. One day while out swimming at a local lake he happens to spot a little red headed spitfire giving one of his men hell because he won't let her swim in this public lake. So Garrett goes to investigate, which only means that Lola turns her wrath upon him and the security team. Garrett is taken with Lola. They end up swimming together and then sitting exchanging a few words and when he looks again, she's gone. It takes time but he does manage to track her down.
Lola is there buying vintage clothing for her business back in the states. Her mother was a dancer in Las Vegas and her father who was a prominent businessman hit the road when he found out she was pregnant. Lola doesn't have time to dwell on that stuff. She's a successful businesswoman. Her next stop after leaving here is Paris to buy and then ship the clothing home to the states, herself soon to follow.
When the Paps happen to catch a photo of Lola and Garrett together, Lola is among other things upset. She can't leave the house she's rented there. Conveniently Garrett pays a visit and Kian in his not so infinite flipping wisdom advised by two other royal spinners see this as a way for Garrett to regain his place on the royal thrown. Ahh but not so fast. They left out the kIng, who is a royal dick, but you'll see him later. Garrett thinks it's a good idea (s0rt of) Lola's sales have skyrocketed and though they have to deal with the paps, together they can handle it.
What a great couple these two are. So easy and really pull you into their characters. Lola is all snark and sass and Garrett can rise to that occasion as well. Despite what he is still battling Lola seems to be the compassionate soul he needs and they really belong together.
The story continues to unfold, and when the king graces his son with a phone call, Lola overhears part of it. Making some decisions that perhaps weren't in both their best interest, nonetheless she does. All he knows is she's gone and he's got nothing left. He's lost that last part of himself.
All hell breaks loose and I do mean me hell. The story so well written I felt some of that in the pit of my stomach. Kian is an idiot and Savvy although she's got a couple lines that make sense is perfect for Kian. Two peas. Truly. The storyline flowed smoothly and the writing was stellar. Loved it.
Truly a 5 star read.

I have seriously enjoyed the books I've read by Tracy Wolff and this one is no different. I was leery about reading Garrett's story because I was concerned how he was going to come across. Now I'm slapping myself for being concerned.

He's back after being kidnapped and tortured. If that wasn't enough to break him, losing the one thing he had been training for his whole life just might, the title of crowned Prince and next in line for the throne.

Then enters Lola. The free spirited and a little damaged in her own right American who pushes Mister by the book out of his comfort zone. It was good to read and I seriously enjoyed it.

"Two people as messed up as we are really have no business being together."

I confess, I didn't think Garrett could win me over as much as his twin brother Kian did, but I was wrong. When Garrett was rescued after being kidnapped and tortured, the broken prince stole my heart. I learned that he was more than the goody-goody chosen one, and an heir to the throne. Yeah, maybe he was more serious and not as funny and carefree as his twin, but he had so much more responsibility to weigh him down. Well, at least he did, before his father decided that the son that was returned to him after the abduction wasn't fit to be king. Now the heir has become the spare.

Kian is still hilarious, especially now that he's taken over Garrett's role as the next prince in line for the throne. It's the last thing he wants. He's never wanted that responsibility and he's fully aware that his brother does. If it wasn't for Garrett's coaching, he wouldn't have even made it through a single one of the meetings he's required to attend. Let's hope that there's still a country left to lead by the time he gets through messing up.

Garrett tries to keep his resentment under control and his anger simmering below the surface. But sometimes it's hard to accept his new lot in life. He's made the ultimate sacrifice and rather than it being appreciated he's been put out to pasture. Why not see if the grass really is greener on the other side? Kian had a blast being the black sheep of the family, so why not give it a try? Maybe women and partying and no responsibility is the way to go. That's how he met her...Lola.

Lola is an amazing character who won me over in a single sentence. I became the president of her fan club immediately and never wavered in my support. She is a little red-headed fireball who is not intimidated by royalty or their security and is not afraid to let them know it in no uncertain terms. How could Garrett fail to notice and appreciate her? Especially when she was wearing a tiny bikini when she decided to take on his security detail. He thought he would be satisfied with just a taste, but once he got one, he knew it wasn't enough.

Garrett might know how to run a country, but he couldn't run her. Even when he gave her the 'royal treatment' he was the one bending to her will. He couldn't get enough of her feistiness and her beauty bowled him over. When their one date got caught on camera the media exposure made it impossible to keep it a secret. Was their invasion of her privacy too much to handle, or would she be willing to keep playing with the prince?

I've really enjoyed the His Royal Hotness series and wish there were more princes in the palace to look forward to. But no worries, I'm ready for whatever the author has for us next, she never disappoints. The line forms here...
