I have always considered detoxing to be a physical thing to do, but the author lays out the benefits of emotional detoxing.  I am someone that constantly worries and am going to try to utilize her advice about the importance of stopping and looking at what is important in life and what causes happiness in life.  I am going to reread this one and utilize the advice in my everyday life.

Everyone is looking for the self help book that will help them find a balance in their crazy life.  Emotional Detox isn't anything new with its concepts. The author however is able to make readers see the simplicity of the stop and smell the roses. Sherianna Boyle uses a 7 step process that if readers truly want to change their lives this can be a great recourse for them to use. Whether you believe in energy healing or not, this book is accessible to anyone interested in calming their anxieties.  The author uses practical breathing exercises and stress management tools and funnels them into easy to practice instructions.
