Where this book really excels is its straightforward, accessible breakdown of what FODMAPs are and the effect they can have. If you’re just getting to grips with the principles of the diet, it’s informative without being too technical. On the other hand, the recipes don’t seem especially inspiring and the life advice sections feel a little out of place. Overall, it’s a great way to learn more about the low-FODMAP diet and with some revisions, it could be an essential purchase.
