Continues the interesting well-written story set during the American Revolution. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series as soon as I can. Recommended.

I read the first installment in this series and plan to continue as they are released. As before, there was a lot of interesting information, this time more about the immigrants of the time period and the stark contrast in loyalists vs. rebels. Again, I enjoyed it mostly because I'm interested in learning more about this time period, but wouldn't advise this for just ANYONE to pick up. I plan to continue reading this series as it is released.

The second installment in this series examining 1776 month by month. This volume focuses on the ethnic, religious, and economic diversity of the emerging "Americans". The descriptions of booming cities such as Philadelphia, Charleston, and New York demonstrate the urbanization of the colonies, though farming (subsistence or plantation) was the reality for most people.
