Author and Bible teacher Elizabeth George gives women a wonderful devotional that focuses on prayers that touch a woman's heart. Well written; this will certainly warm any woman's heart and give them encouragement that they need.

Elizabeth George is straightforward and concise as she skillfully guides her readers through different areas of struggle in a woman’s life. I found myself uplifted and encouraged as I took the prayers bit by bit over the course of several weeks. I would recommend this to my fellow ladies.

Each day is closed out with a Bible verse or inspirational quote. It's short enough to fit in a busy schedule but meaty enough to have a true impact on your life.

Covering a wide range of topics which include endurance, assurance, fear, faithfulness, and patience, there is something for every season in a woman’s life, Each day’s reading has a Bible verse on which each prayer and devotional is based. Elizabeth George is a talented, thoughtful writer and has written prayers that go straight to your heart about all these topics. This is a book I’ll pick up often for daily encouragement. This book would also make a thoughtful gift for almost any occasion.

This is a collection of prayers from Elizabeth George with a short devotional on each one. Each prayer is beautifully written and the commentary on each are challenging. However i found the book slightly disjointed and i wasn't all together sure of how to use the book ; originally I read a prayer daily but then some were not particularly relevant at all to that day. Maybe it would be good as a reference book to turn to when particular issues are faced? However , that said, it was an enjoyable and challenging read.

Very good book to help one deal wiht various things that may be going on in their personal life. We all need a little pick me up from time to time and this book can provide that. The listing of different subjects at the beginning of the book is most helpful. Nice pick me up.
