'The Queen's Opal' was even better than I expected it to be. The book combines great characters, magic, elves, thieves and fast-paced action at certain points. It was a great read!

It took me forever to finish this book. I was really torn between finishing this or not but then again, i tried to give it a chance. The characters are all okay, but the world building and story flow is so slow.

I loved this book!! It took a little bit to get going but I loved that Drynn is a little bit of a book nerd thrust out into adventure! The world building feels a little flat but that might because I hadn’t read the stand alone “Stone bearers” novel before hand. Nether the less I enjoyed Drynns story and look forward to “The Queens gift” this year 😍

A great coming of age story about someone who loves to believe in people and looks outside of his own life to become a better version of himself. World building was good but not great however character development more than made up for that.
