This was a wonderful book and I highly recommend it to any romance reader. I loved the characters and the story line. It is a stand a lone book

Right off the bat, I need to say I LOVED When We Found Home!! I know when I start a Susan Mallery novel I am in for some awesomeness, but I When We Found Home could be one of my favorites from her ever! I knew from the synopsis this was going to be a good book, but it ended up way more than that! I am always amazed with the amount of depth that Susan packs into her novels—love that! There are several storylines melded together so there is never a dull moment! This book is a fantastic blend of romance and women’s fiction and is a total standalone (but I would love if it turned into a series). In saying that, I adored the characters and and I was definitely not ready to say goodbye when the book ended (again, I would LOVE if this became a series)! When We Found Home is a 5 star read that I highly recommend! A must read!!!

I’ve read all Susan Mallory books, and this is my favorite. I find Mallory to be a quintessential romance writer and it’s possible to enjoy her books for the romance alone, but it’s her characters who are always very real, going through complex situations, that I’m drawn to the most. When We Found Home is about three half siblings who are just meeting and must learn how to trust and love each other. It’s not easy, but that’s what makes this book so appealing. I highly recommend.

What would you do if you discovered you had both a brother and a sister you never knew existed? Callie Smith is shocked when she learns of her adult brother, Malcolm and 12-year-old sister, Keira. Malcolm has grown up in the lap of luxury, now his grandfather has invited Keira and Callie to move in to their grand estate. Adjusting to their new family isn’t easy on any of the siblings, and Malcolm begins to feel like the odd man out in his own home. Can this group of misfits become a family?
