I enjoyed the characters of the story and the history of the town. Sam's spiritual journey was heartfelt and rang true. The quirky secondary characters added to the story. The crime family and DA just didn't ring true to me. I liked the author's descriptive writing and could picture the places.

The Other Side of Darkness is a well crafted inspirational book. I loved the plot and the setting. I always enjoy this author’s books. Highly recommend
