Great tie in with the Wanted crew. Loved seeing how Gunner was prior to Ellie!

Kelly Elliott has been one of my absolute favorite authors since she released Wanted and I fell head over heels in love with Gunner Matthews. So when I heard we were gonna get a prequel to what is still my favorite series, I couldn't have been more excited. Elliott did not disappoint, giving us some amazing insight into the guys of wanted before the girls. And then we got a few scenes we already knew about from a different POV. I loved every single second of this one.
I just don't think there will come a time when I feel like I have had too much of this amazing group of characters. If you, like me, can't get enough of the Wanted gang then this one is for you. One click now, you won't be sorry!

Totally confused! It appears that you must read the series before reading this..

This book is almost like the prequel to the Wanted Series, but I would suggest reading it after book 3 to get the full effect and understand what is going on. This book follows Gunner, Jeff and Josh a few months before the first book "Wanted". It shows the carefree life they had before they met "the ones" and how they were ready for them. It gives a much better insight to Jeff and why he kept Ari at arms length and did the stupid things he did to make her mad.

If you're a fan of this author's Wanted Series you are going to love this look back at your favorite characters. If your planning on reading the series this is a great place to start. If you don't fall into either group you may want to pass since this isn't really a complete story. It's more of a prelude to the stories to come. It reads a bit young with many of the characters in high school but that's understandable considering what it is. I'm a fan of the series and really enjoyed this one. I highly recommend it.

Kelly Elliott makes her mark. She seduces with subtle sweetness. She speaks to the heart in a profound way. Desired is an introduction and a reunion of sorts. A chance to test the waters while reacquainting yourself with old friends. These characters are meant to be adored and unable to forget.

I love this series and so happy to get to see what the guys did before they meet the Girls of their Dreams. We get to revisit Gunner, Jeff, Josh and Brad. These boys are something else but to be able to see them fall at Ellie, Ari, Heather and Amanda's feet is super exciting. Kelly Elliott has a way of pulling you into her stories and I personally fall in love with each and every one. She hit this story out the park.

This book is in my opinion a prequel to her Wanted series and I would suggest that you would be better served if you had read the books in the series before reading this one.At the very least you need to have read Wanted.

I fell in love with the characters from her Wanted series when I read the first book, so this book was a little like coming home to me. We see another side to Jeff and Gunner before their relationships with their soul mates and I fell more and more for these two men in particular.

Desired is told from the men’s point of view and they really are swoon worthy. I am so in love with Gunner that it is not funny. For those of you who love her Wanted series, then this will be a one click must.

This was a well written book which is what I have come to expect from Kelly Elliott. She has a way of telling a story that captures your interest and keeps you invested.

Let me start by saying this is NOT a standalone novel. Desired is a PREQUEL (In my opinion) to Kelly Elliott’s Wanted Series.

This story tells of what the Wanted Men were up to before they met their ONES!!! So for this story to make sense to people you might want to have read Wanted (Book 1) first or just know that the ending is like a cliffhanger. You are left wanting more, so reading Wanted right after is recommended.

I truly enjoyed this story and the background that this book filled in about the guys from the Wanted Series. I still stand by the fact that Gunner Mathews is my favorite Hero in this series.

In this book we follow the guys and their antics as they enter their last year of College. This is only told in Gunner, Jeff and Josh’s POV. I thought this was a great addition to the Wanted Series and filled in some of the holes and questions that might arise while reading that series. If you haven’t read the Wanted Series (what are you waiting for??) this sets up those books and where their stories go. I love that we get to see how and when they each fell for their women.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the Wanted Series or is a fan of Kelly Elliott’s work. If she is new to you then this is the perfect place to start your Wanted journey with.

Ellie just doesn't really read between the lines, “that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Thank you, Gunner, so much. I’m sure you’re going to make some girl a very happy woman someday.” I forced a smile. Couldn’t she see that she was the girl I wanted to make happy?" This book is from the boys's point of view and I have to say being in their mind was so much fun, I loved it.

Fans of the Wanted Series, this book is for you. Now, I don't know about you guys, but when I fall in love with a character or a series, I will never say no to more. And one of the things that I loved about Desired was that it took us all back to the beginning. Desired is kinda like a prequel or lets say a companion novella to Wanted. We get to see those amazing men before they met the women that would forever knock their worlds off their axis. Not only do we get to see inside these guys head and see all the antics that follow, but you get to see the moments where the attraction and fall begins to happen. It gives you a little taste of what's to come and reminds you of just what a fun ride readers will be in-store for. 

Desired is a quick and easy read that will leave you with a smile on your face. This story is well-written and is just what fans have been begging for. Author Kelly Elliott has done amazing job taking us back to where it all began and I don't know about you guys, but after finishing this, I want to read Wanted all over again!

AGAIN!!!! Kelly Elliott has proven why she is an amazing Author!!!
To me this was a great gift to those of us that have been following her since The Wanted series came out. We get to see the side of Gunner and Josh before they met the love's of their lives. Jeff always had a huge crush on Ari, he just fought his feelings.
Gunner always the romantic and the true southern gentleman. Woman would throw them seleves at him. And Gunner would just smile and gently turn them down
Josh, always the player had a revolving door of women. That is until HE WAS SLAMMED when he realized this isn't how he wants to be
And then there's my favorite cowboy Jeff, Poor guy confused about his feeling for his siter's best friend. This was fun book to read.

I absolutely adore Desired. I would go so far and call this a prequel so to speak or a companion to Wanted. I love that we get more Gunner, Jeff, Josh, Brad, Heather, Amanda, Ari and Ellie. Seriously you go back to the start of it all. You get all the boys view. Not only do you get from their view and the mischief that follows, but you get them from the very beginning of meeting their ladies. Oh the fight of attraction and realizations all around. The Wanted series is by far one of my top favorite series out there and to re read when the mood strikes. Kelly Elliott did a fantastic job bringing everyone back to the beginning.

I absolutely loved ‪the Wanted‬ Series and this book is a fabulous way to get to know the boys before they found the women they want to spend the rest of their lives with.  Jeff has had a crush on Ari forever, but is not willing to lose her friendship by taking it to the nest level.  Gunner has been dreaming of a woman who needs his help and the moment he meets Ellie his dreams have come alive.  Josh is getting tired of his manwhore ways and finds the woman he is willing to change for on the side of the road with a flat tire. With a beautifully written storyline this is a must read for anyone who has loved the characters in the series.

I'm goting to start off this review by saying if you read Kelly Elliott's Wanted series, then you shouldn't even start this book until you have read the series, as this is the male prelude to the whole series, and you would not understand anything of what is going on!

With that being said, I was thrilled to read this book, I'm always interested in what is going on in the male characters head, and especially Jeff's head after Ellie's graduation party! And finally, I have the answers.

Desired is a great book, and it filled in so many detaills, and if you have read a Kelly Elliott book before, you know its well written, the characters and we'll developed, and you find yourself unable to get the characters out of your head....or maybe that's just me lol!

I give Desired 5 stars!

I started to read this book, but couldn't get in to the story sorry. I was also slightly wary of reading it as I had not read others in the series.
