when i started this book i had high expectations i thought it was going to be this edge of your seat thriller with the name of the book "the house swap" i thought it would be very creepy so i was excited to start reading it i was looking forward to it but once i started it i quickly realized that it wasn't going to be the book i thought it was going to be that's not saying i didn't like it but i'm not saying i loved it i wasn't gripped by the story i thought all the sex with Caroline and Carl could have been a bit less and more use your imagination i thought is this a fifty shades of grey style book or a thriller also Caroline was hardly discrete in her affair if i'm honest the first half of the book i wasn't keen on but the second half i did like it and i was getting in to the story i thought the ending could have been a bit more edgy and gripping bit more action i wasn't sure to give this book 3 or 4 stars so ill give it a 3.5 thank you to the Publishers and Netgalley for my copy

An excellent psychological thriller with twists that I wasn't expecting which I love in a book. Recommended read.

A psychological thriller is not my usual read, they make my mind race which I don’t like when I’m reading to relax. But I enjoyed this. Now I didn’t like the characters but I don’t think I’m supposed to! I did like the alternating time frames and I did like that I didn’t guess the whodunnit element

I very much enjoyed this! The story had an easy flow that was easily to follow. Even with times and characters going back and fourth I could keep track of what was going on. Had a few twist that were surprising. I would read this author again!
